This is interesting- all the playthroughs Ive seen for Tears of the Kingdom is from people whod played Breath of the Wild first- it'll be really interesting to see someone completely new try it out! Thanks for posting!

A good thing about TOTK is that you don't really need to have played BOTW to know what's happening. It's pretty much self-contained.

I just came across this Channel and honestly as far as first impressions go. This video was awesome. I'm not much for watching twitch streams but I'll definitely be coming back to the channel to watch some stuff that you upload here. You're going to have a blast with this game though. There's so much to do, even off-camera, it's so easy to get sidetracked. I reckon you will have hundreds of hours on this game before you're done with it. You got my sub, 100%. :) (Also when I first saw your face, you instantly reminded me of Diggy Diggy Hole. I don't know why :D)

Though botw and totk are connected and in the same universe, it doesn’t affect you much if you haven’t played botw. However, for those of us who have experienced botw, there are plenty of Easter eggs and dialogue that we recognize lmao. Excited to see you play this!

Everything is more or less explained in this game, but both games together tell a continuous story.

Not sure if you would know or not but every game is designed to be the same universe but many years before or after the other games, for all intents and purposes, they can be considered different universes, the only thing that should be mentioned is that breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom are designed to be connected with tears being about 7 years after breath of the wild, the two games are made to be as disconnected as possible except for the same characters and world but other than that no one mentions the events of breath of the wild.
