The dev understands how immensely addicting this game is, and to prevent the worst from coming to pass they made it so no casinos could use Balatro or make similar games for real gambling. Casinos have actually approached them to license it out to become a real video poker game.

And those ppl never played poker much or don't understand it which is why I'm having issues with it not much of a gambler now it's a huge learning curve cuz IDK what I'm doin I spend more$to lose lol can't get past the 2nd boss thought i get to keep jokers IDK maybe i just need play it more and it'll gets it's hooks on me I felt it when I went on a few good run but it just isn't pulling me into it like the game i shouldn't compare others to called inscryption! Best card game I ever played hands down and it's a great game too wish they'd make a sequel. I thought this video was about balatro were like 15m into it and haven't even started the game WTF

I first found Balatro through NorthernLion when it was in beta. After it came out I watched NL & Roffle & soon bought the game. On the first day I played Balatro I sat down for 12 hours & only got up once for a pee break. I currently have about 470 hours in Balatro, but I have yet to beat any deck on gold stake. I have gotten _infuriatingly_ close (within 3,000 points) of beating ante 8 on gold stake. Hex deck is my favourite, green deck is a close second favourite. Black deck can burn in a pit of infernal fire for eternity. All in all, Balatro is addictive.
