honestly it’s probably a good thing you started with reach first, because if you liked this, then the next three games are gonna be one wild ride. I can’t stress how much the halo series left an impact on me, and I can’t wait to see someone new to the franchise play through it

@@ThatgirlNana Really? I typically hear that Reach is one of the best, glad you enjoyed it though! Reach for me is my favorite because it made me feel how emotional and deep the story of Halo is, know you've played the other games by now but I hope you enjoyed those too! Honestly I love the Halo series, although I like the originals, which Reach was the last of. The newer ones are good too but more on a gameplay perspective.

Now check out the irony. Jorge loved reach but didn’t die on it, Kat the brains of noble team gets shot through the head, Jun travels with Halsey to get safe, carter crashed the pelican like a captain going down with the ship, Emile the knife fanatic dies by being stabbed, and you the lone wolf dies alone. Also the reason why noble 6 was quiet was for the player to connect with being them better.

The reason why Carter could hold it together while being that injured at the start of the mission until he sacrificed himself is because some Spartan 3's like him received experimental augmentations that made them dependant on a special drug to keep their composure, but the trade was that they could endure injuries so bad that would make any other person, even any other Spartan to pass out due to the pain. One example even worse than that of Carter is that one time, 2 Spartan 3 were carrying out of the combat field a passed out Spartan 2, they were then ambushed and one of the Spartan 3 was severely injured, he had his ribcage exposed, many broken bones, many vital organs were failing and still had the energy to get back on the field, detonate a bomb to stall the enemy and help with their retreat, when that Spartan 3 came back to Jun (his superior) he raised his hand to do a military salute and said "Sir, I've been hit" and fell to the ground, dying at that moment. That's how scary and effective those experimental drugs were.

The other Halo games arent as good, theyre not as emotional at all. Halo 4 & Halo 5 r really bad and you wont feel attached to anyone. Halo 3 ODST is the most similar to Halo Reach though, you'll probably enjoy that one.
