FIRST TIME PLAYING | Life Is Strange Let's Play Part 1

Hi! If you're reading this, it has been several weeks since I started playing this game. Just a warning that I was VERY new to the Life is Strange games and story heavy games like this one... I WILL miss things, not read things, pretty much just blatantly walk past things because I didnt realize at the time how important even the tiniest details were. If you stick with this series and keep watching, I get better at reading everything and understanding what the point of these games are... just please keep that in mind while watching, and before you comment how how frustrsting it is to watch me skipping things.. just ask yourself, did you get everything right the first time you played this game?? Probably not. Another friendly reminder that people don't play games the way you did... people also don't pick up on things you may have if it is their first time playing this. Don't judge a person by their playthrough, that is extremely unfair. I'm sorry that I missed so much, and because of that, who knows, I might go back and play it again one day to get all the stuff I missed the first time around! But please don't get frustrated :) and be patient with me! Ya live and ya learn, just like I did with this game. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Thanks for leaving this here. I would say for sure in future in games like this, take your time, no rush at all. I know when this game tells you to go somewhere i ignored it until i saw everything lol

@@dan290786 hahaha this was like the second movie/narrative game that I had played and I was sooooo used to just doing quests going from one thing to the next and not really looking at every single detail! These games taught me a lot!!

I love watching people experience Life is Strange for the first time. It's such a special game to me and I feel like I experience it for the first time all over again vicariously when I see people like you playing it. Your reaction to the incident in the bathroom was incredible, same as the run-in with Victoria on the steps. I'm looking forward to seeing how you go in the remaining episodes.

i love how it says "this action will have consequences" but it says that regardless of whether you do something morally good or bad...the only thing that means is "something will change because of this" why does it matter what Juliet's last name is...because people who care take the time to know those things

I’d give anything to experience this game for the first time again. Still go back & replay it at least once a year. I love Max, Chloe, Joyce & Kate sooo much 🙌🏻

Oh gosh! You're in for a treat! You will see, but during this game it's pretty obvious that I have never played a LiS game before so I miss a lot and don't read like anything! Then I realize that I need to read all the details! But you see a lot of improvement while playing all the games! I definitely learn a lot!

It's been a few years since I played it and I sometimes still have the urge to look at those landscapes and listen to that music. The first story still leaves a huge lump in my throat. It has become a part of my dreamscape now.

I got spoiled watching someone else play through this who reads everything. Now it just bothers me when people don't. XD Every detail matters. The entire game itself can be finished in 5 hours but not have much context on who people really are.

You know what... I used to be a streamer and being detail oriented was something I always fell short on and it kinda hindered my enjoyment of games, especially story driven choices matter ones.. when I first started uploading content here on yt, I was still in that streamer "rush through everything" mindset, and this platform and the community and uploading this type of content really taught me to take my time again and enjoy everything a game has to offer! So I'm glad you pick up on it :))

Just because vic is one of the more complex and evolving characters in the show. Doesn't mean she isn't/wasnt heavily flawed in some pretty nasty destructive to those around her ways. It makes alot of sense to love vic as a character but dislike her as a person

@@TheMirandalorian Oh ok cool. Will def check that out. So I started playing LIS last week thursday. Started with BTS and finished all the way thru to the original game March 1st. I have not been captivated and crushed by a game like this in YEARS. So now i'm just strolling other people's channels to see the decisions they made and process the EMOTIONAL DAMAGE...LOL with other people. I think I will start LIS2 and True Colors this week to get lost in a new story and get my fix of Adventure questing. It's a nice change of pace from the FPS games I am use to. Thanks for responding.

I think you should do a new intro (perhaps added ahead of the current one) with a much stronger and _earlier_ caution for unsuspecting viewers who should be aware of its extreme emotional intensity FROM THE START, _before_ they get too invested!
