First Time Playing Minecraft: Best Spawn Ever!

We finally go exploring a little and you guys! All of this was right by our spawn! Can you believe how lucky we were? Also I'm still amazed I haven't died yet! We might have to try a Hardcore world next, I'm obviously a pro gamer!
