Its fascinating the amount of people in chat that think they'd be fine in this sort of apocalypse. All that zombie media made people too confident. Yeah they're slow, but they also don't sleep and they don't need to eat to keep on going unlike "infected" running zombies. You can run all day and a horde will catch up slowly every time you stop. These are creatures unaffected by lethal radiation or deep sea pressure. If they freeze in winter they'll thaw in Spring like nothing hapened. They also take five years to fully decompose away in most temperatures. (Source: World War Z and Zombie Survival Guide both by Max Brooks). In my mind you'd have to be physically fit and be a cold as steel sociopath to hit the ground running with surviving in this world. Contrary to zombie media you most likely can't just turn into Rambo and start swinging at stuff with lethal accuracy no problem. Especially if you've never ended anything larger than a bug in your life. Keep in mind its very easy to misjudge a swing with a blunt object and the stakes couldn't be higher with how you swing because if you do it wrong you likely won't get a second try. That first zombie is gonna be the deciding factor for most of you.

I actually question if zombies would be unaffected by lethal radiation and deep sea pressures. Like, a zombie is still a physical mass of reanimated tissues, it can be crushed by something as simple as a pavement roller, deep sea pressures would squish a zombie flat without question.

@pearchris I feel like pressures and radiation levels would need to be strong enough to get to the brain. They aren't indestructible. They would still able to walk around after enduring otherwise lethal levels of radiation and pressure. The point is since they're dead they are far more durable than say, an infected running zombie who seem to have the durability of a normal human. There is also a whole chapter in WWZ designed to illustrate that modern military weaponry, when up against a horde of millions will do little more than end a couple hundred and injure thousands of them. This is because weapons design to attack a nervous systems or use large concussive force have no affect on undead. Direct hits will do fatal damage with certain types of ammo but next to nothing against a river of millions of them. Basically reverse shock and awe is what the chapter is about.

No need to play the ps2 version of re4. The re4 remake that came out last year is just as good with the updated modern feel obviously because the controls are a bit janky for the old and it could get annoying whereas the remake it’s perfect, so go for the remake if you do go for re4. And just a suggestion re2 remake is like the prequel to it, so you could totally play that one before to get the background story of Leon, but not necessary

Since everyone is giving their recommendations for other similar games I’ll throw my hat into the ring, tales from the borderlands is also made by telltale and (at least in the circles I follow) is considered the best written and funniest of the telltale games with a lot of heart thrown in for good measure. It’s set in the world of the borderlands video game world but brings its players up to speed enough that I would say playing borderlands isn’t a requirement for enjoyment, just a lot of references and some characters that you’ll enjoy regardless of where you know them from previous experience. I can’t recommend it enough, id watch every second of that play through!

Then I never went back to it. Now I feel like I should play through the next 2 episodes myself before I watch your next streams!
