the version that "crashes a lot" is the windows/pc version of the game, which includes more classes, missions and other bonus features (Scholarship Edition). you're playing the original ps2 game on pcsx2, which doesn't have those extra features and won't crash

From what I remember The Warriors came out either the same year as or the year after San Andreas so it has little to do with what made GTA good. GTA was already good so it's more like the other way around. Doesn't change that The Warriors is a classic though.
