This song has 17 parts :) The whole concert is legendary! One of the best concerts of all time! Nightwish at his best and Floor with an unbelievable godlike performance for 2 hours! They did a Live DVD from this concert called "Showtime, Storytime". I see it every year and i get goosebumps all the time... Ghost Love Score is only 10 Minutes long, you have to check out "The greatest show on Earth" from Nightwish, its over 20 Minutes long and also a legendary performace, especially the Tampere 2015 Live Version - check it out!!!

Bro, you're the first out of hundreds of reactions I've seen, that said what I feel when I hear this song. Before the guitar solo and at "redeem me into childhood" Floor's voice is so warm, so protective and embracing, like a mother that's holding her children very close. And her gesture after the final note I interpret as "Now I release you my children, run free". Inbetween she's the siren, the witch, the warrior queen. What a woman. I also like your comparison to the Jean Grey / Phoenix character in X-Men.

Actually, the Phoenix from X-Men is uncontrolled power and rage. That's why she doesn't die. On the other hand, Jean Grey is the other half, being calm and controlled. Rogue is not like either one, in that she can't touch anyone, otherwise she drains them. That being said, you didn't join a cult, you didn't summon Voldemort, you didn't do anything of the sort. What you witnessed was a Valkyrie ascending and realizing what she is. But this Valkyrie doesn't want to go back to Odin in Valhalla, she's having way too much fun here, lol. Yet when she sings, when she performs, she gives all of us mere mortals a glimpse, a taste, of what the afterlife in Odin's Halls might be like.

If u watched Phantom of the Opera, u probably listened to Tarja (og singer). The singer u listening now, es Floor. The current singer. Both of them are awesome. There was a third (second) singer, also awesome. The 3 of them are pretty different and has their own style. I probably prefer Floor over the rest for her versatility and style. The pipe organ is a prop. It is a reference to the monument of Finnish national composer Jean Sibelius and nightwish is the biggest Finnish band. The keyboard player Tuomas who´s also the composer of all their songs always has a prop (like a Jack Sparrow doll) attached to his keyboard but this was by far the grandest one he ever done.

Very nice reaction, it's always a pleasure to see people enjoying and wondering what the heck they just heard. It never gets old. You are totally correct about the chapters, this is written like a classical piece of music, not some pop song. The fact that this is called a score should give some clues, it's telling a story and takes you on a journey through it. This is symphonic metal and the symphonic part is dominant in this song. You hear the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the back. ( yes the orchestra that did the music for Lord of the Rings, since you referenced Voldemor) But make no mistake, the definitely do have really metal songs as well. They do it all, and she sings it all. This concert is pure gold check it out and enjoy. You seemed to have just the Nightwish Army we're not a cult, we're all warm and welcoming people 🖤🤘🏼

Nightwish army division Holland here (land of Floor Jansen, the best female singer we have) The classical background music is the London Symphonic Orchestra, Tuomas (key's and composer) writes out all music for the orchestra and choirs, Ofcourse it's not possible to tour with such a big famous orchestra, so they use it as back ground track. I love the metal combined with classical music. They fit awesomely together. As a mucisian myself these two genres are the most challanging and a like (constant key and rythm changes) Floor is from Holland, (classica trained in opera and theatre) Your comparison is pretty good with the characters. She can sing as an angel, but trust me she is total metal, growls, screams like a big dude haha. The band is Finnish from origin. And they are extremely big all over the world.....but USA. I don't know why, but America lives a bit under a bubble, so it's great to see people like you exploring our music. Thank you sir.

Floor pumps emotions straight into your heart. Like no one else. It is a really unique talent. It in fact is a combination of angelic sound, moves, gestures, expressions, and lets be honest, a joy to look at. The total of everything makes her the top professional she is. No wonder she is called the Valkery, the Goddess of metal. Of course it helps that she is over 6 feet tall and looks down on most gentlemen. But her face reveals her inner being. Under the facade there is a very gentle, lovely, sweet and humble personality that remains true to herself. She remains herself under this huge pressure of popularity. And that is maybe the greatest performance of it all. One of the most powerful woman of all times.

Glad you decided to react to this band again…This is with their 3rd singer Floor Jansen,a 6’1” Dutch vocal beast..They’re definitely a band that are better live,their studio stuff is good but it’s their live performances where they shine…they go from operatic though to rock,folk,Celtic and on to thrash and everything in between,hope you decide to dip your toe into some more..if you do then definitely use Gabriel’s list as it has the best quality videos performance and audio wise.👍

The Wacken Open Air is one of the oldest and largest metal festivals in the world. It has over 80,000 visitors and is in Germany. It is in an agricultural setting and that is why the bull skull is their logo. The audience is special. Many come to the festival every year and the bands play in “their living room”. In addition, 10 months earlier the band was about to end. They had lost their second singer in the middle of the tour and Floor had to take over as a substitute within two days. That's why there is no studio recording with Floor of any of the songs from this concert. The first joint LP was not released until 2015. The hand sign originated with metal in the 70s. Well-known singer Ronnie James Dio claims to have been the first to do it on stage to drive away evil. People would then follow suit. I guess it comes from the black metal scene. Maybe it was something else or all of the above. It now seems to have become the trademark of all rockers. Basically all metal fans are wolves and dogs, especially in symphonic metal or melodic death metal. It's about letting all emotions roar so that the dog's calm can return. Floor explains it like this: Floor Jansen - Wolf And Dog (Live) Phantom of the Opera comes from the musical of the same name and is a cover by Nightwish. As Video is only the live version and for a long time it was the only one. In the Dutch TV show Beste Zengers, Floor had to promise the opera singer Henk Port that he would sing with him and Nightwish. It's closer to the original: Nightwish - The Phantom Of The Opera (ft. Henk Poort) (LIVE) 10 minutes isn't long. On the current album there is one with 30 minutes, the final part of which they used live as outro. It appears your previous Nightwish reaction was to their performance of Phantom of the Opera at their End of an Era concert in 2005. That concert featured their 1st singer, Tarja Turunen. The singer you see here is their 3rd and present singer Floor Jansen. Floor and Tarja both have operatic capabilities, but Floor is able to sing in many different styles, only some of which are displayed in this video.

Floor often reminds me of one of those female characters drawn by John Buscema in the 70s in the “Conan the Barbarian” comics. Often princesses or witches.
