For me this is not only Su’s best solo song but perhaps BABYMETAL’s best song overall. It certainly sits very near the top. I could write pages about how amazing a singer and performer I think Su is but this video speaks for itself. I was lucky enough to see Su sing this at Wembley in 2016. She absolutely blew the roof off. Good reaction keep them coming.

The two fighting backup dancers, Minami and Minako, were collectively referred to by fans as “Muscle-metal”. They were part of the Dark Side Era, after Yui’s departure and before the introduction of the Avengers. I'm not entirely sure, but something gave me the impression you liked this?🤔 The fight scene in the middle was also performed during the 2018 tour ... and here in 2021 the two 'Muscle Metal' dancers who were doing it in 2018 came back specially to do it again.🤘🤘 If you can find the Legend D (2012) and Legend S (2017) performances you will see Su-metal battling against ... There are many singers who don't like to sing the way SU METAL is sings, Because she often uses even notes and she hits the right notes every time. And you have to be really good to be able to do that. She is a great singer

I like how the guitars sound better in some of the older versions but man the switch to unfinished version more than makes up for it and pushes this way above

Nice one, thanks! This is probably the best performance of "Akatsuki" ever... once you have watched all the previous ones. 😁 Also my all time favorite song. In my opinion, the fight scene is more a fan thing (a reminiscence from two earlier performances of the song) and distracts you from the amazing guitar solo. Did you even notice it? 🤣 🤘🦊

Awesome, took you long enough! 😆. I used to like the Budokan 2014 version better due to the dueling guitars instead of the martial arts segment. But, this is just epic, and Su’s vocals are just insane. You can hear her improvement and growth from the 2014 Budokan version. Epic! 🤘🦊

The funny thing about Su is that she can be all fierce and commanding looking one moment, and then two seconds later looking like a complete goof. One of the fun parts about going to tour shows is that they mess around and have fun a lot more than they do at the big stadium shows where they're 100% business. Akatsuki often tops fan polls for the number one Babymetal song; it's usually between Akatsuki and Megitsune for the top spot.

Welcome back and apologies excepted. dont do it again 😂 Totally agree that Su's performance was incredible and the fight by Muscle Metal( name for them given by fans ) was spectacular. They did this version with the fight on the 2018 US tour in Austin no Yui to the surprise of the audience who thought she would be back after her absence from Legend S. She announced her departure from BabyMetal during the tour . I Rember the audience gasped during the courgraphed fight Muscle Metal, coming very close with their kicks and punches . 😃

Akatsuki is a masterpiece! Perfect as a theatrical piece, but also a fantastic song on its own. It's no wonder it is sometimes rated as the number one Babymetal song. They have made several unique and memorable performances for this song. my favorite live version of this will always be from the fox festival 2017 concert. su is much closer to the band,and it has a guitar battle (instead of the ninja battle here) featuring the late mikio fujioka. the stage production is stripped down too,like a real rock concert.please consider reacting to it.

Well Death are in fact two songs. You have Babymetal Death, like this one. This is their standard opening, in fact that the deathin this song is written desu, with is nothing Else than to be. This their standard opening that helped them into their stage persona. And then you had the legend 1997 when they went all in. Amuse wanted to eliminate the idol registration of Suzuka Nakamura. And this brought ideas. So they decided tocadd a crucifiction of Sumetal and one idea brought the next. How did you spent your 176th birthday? Su was crucified in Front of 20.000 Fans... On the one handthey have nothing to with Deathmetal but at the same time the have the absolutetrope of the Genre.
