BTS literally is beyond K POP at this point. I’m actually a metal head who sincerely does not like k pop at all although I tried giving it a chance cause of BTS. But didn’t and don’t care for it. I do like Korean independent artists and groups like the Rose. So why BTS dragged me down the rabbit hole I’ll never know, but I’m delighted they did. I’m a rap line bias but don’t like rap normally. But BTS rappers are phenomenal and their content is not about degrading women etc. so yeah they are different

JK did do a Justin Timberlake Remix of 3D, which blends their voices perfectly, just like Standing next to You with Usher was also perfect. So glad he got to work with his idols from his teenage years and just vibe.`I would have preferred Jungkook to do his own rapping as he is light years better than Jack Harlow. Just listen to more of their early stuff, where he let's loose, spitting bars. V growling in Boy in Luv is just giving me the shivers, especially in contrast to Jimin's counter tenor voice.

Boy In Luv was on their third album, Skool Luv Affair in 2014. It is still very early BTS, but not among their first few songs, as you said. They had about a dozen full songs out at this point, plus intros and outros for their earlier albums. Skool Luv Affair had 10 tracks, 9 songs and a "skit." They put skits on many of their earlier albums that were little scenes or candid conversations that are windows into their lives at the time.

Based on your reactions to the Stray Kids songs you've seen so far, I'd highly recommend their more intense, less pop/radio, songs such as: Mic drop (the mv is also insane with iconic choreography) Dionysus (any performance of this goes so hard) Run BTS (i think you might like the raps in this one) No More Dream (their first song ever, with good raps too since pretty much all of them were rapping lol) And if you're mostly into rap then i HIGHLY suggest and recommend any of Agust D's music (Suga from BTS's solo stuff) especially Daechwita or Agust D the song because his rapping is on a whole other level

Butter is one of their 3 English song whch were all intentionally released to lift the mood during the pandemic and, thus, way to simple compared to their usual music. 3D, like Butter, is very poppish compared to his Euphoria. Boy in Love was shot in a carpark under their building where their very small company was situated at that time. At that time, their company Bighit was facing bangkruotsy. Today, BTS' company Bighit, now Hybe, is not just part of the Big 3 KPop labels and all because of, highly, the BTS. HYBE is now the giant Company in the KPop Industry. Bighit acquired Hybe-SK in 2020 and Bighit operates as one of the recording labels of Hybe. Bighit owns TXT and Blue Jeans. Today, Hybe owns 7 more recording labels one of which owns Seventeen, Enhypen, Zico's lzbel, and many more new artists. The thrn CEO of Bighit (creator of BTS) is now the HYBE's Chairman of the Board. It was reported that BTS owns 32% of Hybes shareholdings which entitles them to more than 4% for each member. Recently or before their enlistment, all members divested their respective shares from group shareholdings [ which were placed under the trust of the Chairman] to themselves, individually, which only means that each of them are free to buy more shares or sell their individual shares and exercise their respective voting rights, if any. It was also reported in a business research of Hyundai that the impact of BTS in SK's national economy from 2018 to 2022 (before their hiatus due to their impending military enlistment), that BTS has contributed to SK's national economy in amount equivalent to 3.2% of its GDP. Thus, all of BTS members received an award from their government the highest merit award in the field of arts and culture in recognition of their music, spreading SK cultural and language across the globe. Practically, BTS greatly helped in placing their small country in the world map. Today, BTS is no longer considered a competing KPop Idol group. They are not mere KPop icons. They are national treasure of their country. and the pride of ARMY across the globe. That is how big BTS have become today.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction(3D), ty. Catchy. Spicy again i see. He is giving us a sensual album. Eeep. i am deceased. Love the female and male backup dancers. Some cool images here. Got Taemin and MJ vibes. But i see why ppl say Justin Timberlake also. I like the alternative version too. Glad u checked it out. On my 2nd go around i noticed the plane which stands for Hobi. JK used some staging from their song Not Today and another song too N.O. with the white staircase i think. So cool. And i got Airplane Pt.2 vibes with the dancing in the rain. =0p I wonder what else he included to remind us of BTS. Of course Anitra @saywhatreacts saw some of the choreo reused brilliant. JK saw a docu about Jack Harlow and he connected to that. So he a fan. 5 earrings plus 2 lip rings = 7 UwU He actually has a remix of this song with Justin Timberlake, lol. Jk is actually a sub rapper. U should hear BTS older songs were he raps. His fire. Hugs. Stay safe! #YouAreEnough --NY USA 2019 Army💟 Michael Stewart also wrote Dynamite! @K-pop55445 said on 9/29/23 ABGs is an acronym for “aznbbygirl” meaning an Asian female gangsta, it’s California culture. Been a thing for like a few decades. @SplitScreenn said on 9/29/23 It’s so sad to see the hate Jack is getting rn for his verse. His verse is LITERALLY him clowning himself and calling himself a man whore, but ppl took it as him being misogynistic and calling the girls whores. Also ABG stands for Asian Baby Girl, so ppl took that and are calling him racist now, it’s honestly pretty fucked up how a harmless funny verse making FUN OF HIMSELF can get so blown out of proportion. Also when he said "once it’s took it can’t get untook", that line went along with the Jungkook bar at the beginning of his verse. "I’m on my Jungkook Take a chick off one look." He saying JK can take your girl just by her looking at him, and the “And when they get took They don’t ever get untook" is saying once he takes ur girl she won’t ever be back 😂 @0109_Steph said on 10/2/23 The dance group is Jam Republic. @sandydebord8153 said on 10/5/23 The best explanation I’ve heard for the boy on the horse in the MV was given by Roscoe, the reactor. Evidently, the first ever motion picture was in 1873 and is called “Horse in motion”. It’s very short and was commissioned by Leland Stanford, horse breeder and founder of Stanford University. Given the combination of JK’s interest in videography and this video being directed by Drew Kirsch, who also did Left and Right by Charlie Puth and Jungkook, it seems plausible to have an obscure reference like this showing something “in motion”. @alicesworld1 said on 11/22/23 71 year old BTS Army here. This song was co-written by British songwriter and now L.A. based David Stewart, Bloodpop and Jack Harlow. It was co-produced by David Stewart and Bloodpop. David Stewart co-wrote and produced the Grammy nominated mega-hit "Dynamite" by BTS so he already has a relationship with Jung Kook. Thanks for your reaction! 💜 @crystalsnow1138 said on 11/21/23 This song wasn't sampled from anyone, but I know a lot of people say the song reminds them of Justin Timberlake's Senorita. Good reaction(Boy in Luv), ty. Hope u saw JK rapping. =0p RM looks good. That undercut hairstyle really suits him. My intro song was Boy with Luv ft. Halsey. So glad you got to listen to the MV. It's a great song. It was played on the radio a lot, =0p. Love the eyeliner. There were a hip hop group in the early years. Bad boys for sure. =0p The more older songs u check out the more of this style you'll see. To stand out from all the other thousand bands debuting in 2013 they worked hard on the choreo and their singing/ rapping. They worked harder than other groups and became known for their amazing stage presence and choreo. This song was on their mini EP Skool Love Affair. All of them(EPs and albums) are great. Hope u check them out. Alex M said on 1/?/21 Boy In Luv was about high school boys chasing a crush on a girl. Boy With Luv - they realize that the truest love is their relationship with ARMY. (Halsey represents ARMY here. She wasn't expected to dance, but she decided she wanted to try). Both choreographies end with them doing "I love you" in sign language. Halsey got a sparkly mic from the guys as a gift because she loved theirs. In return she gave them pink tennis bracelets because they friends for life. She talks to RM all the time by text. They performed together in USA on an award show in May 2019. She is the only artist from the US who asked to learn their choreo. Their choreography is no joke. In the US its easy stuff. There are behind scene vids and interviews. Halsey will not let no one diss BTS. Hope u check out the behind the scenes videos. They all are so cute together. lol. barish's archive said on 10/27/21 Halsey went to Korea to film for this song and BTS and Halsey by far has the most endearing friendship ever!! About the song it's very close to my heart and this is literally ARMY's happy song. Halsey represents ARMY here in the song. This song is basically a letter to ARMY. As the Korean title of this song suggests, “a poem for small things.” When asked to talk about the song, RM said, “It’s about finding little joy in love, being curious about the little things, the details like what you’re eating, what you’re doing. But, most importantly, Boy With Luv is like a fan letter from BTS to ARMY. That’s the most important thing.” It is quite interesting to think about the shift from Boy In Luv (2014) to Boy With Luv - from a young, passionate, immature love that is represented with masculine, macho-like lyrics and visuals, to a mature, ‘true’ love that is about every small thing in life and in love that is represented with feminine, reflective lyrics that are more accepting and embracing.

The video for Boy in Love wasn’t as good as the more recent ones because back then their company was small and had no money. The girl in the video is Jin’s cousin. You can tell when BTS started making money because their videos got exponentially better. I agree that the BTS songs that a rap/metal fan would like would be Dionysus, Mic Drop, Run BTS, Not Today, Outro: Tear, Ugh!, and Ddang.

He is absolutely correct that MJ is a big influence on BTS and KPop as a whole. JK did an all-English album but he is not fluent in English. There is a remix of “3D” with Justin Timberlake. JK is the only Asian listed by Tolling Stone in their top 200 voices of all-time. His song “Standing Next to You’ll is MUCH MORE MJ influenced. There is a remix of it, too with Usher. Butter is not a typical BTS song. Have him watch them sing, “So What” in concert. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJOof4ydarKDb7ssi=f5WC_3oOoacrWlCH Also, “ON Kinetic Manifesto”, “Mic Drop”, “Fake Love” BTS does all sorts of genres.

IU is on that Rolling Stone list, and a couple of singers from the subcontinent.
