For your information, this performance was originally only in the line-up with CL, 2NE1's appearance was a surprise, fans, audiences, other participating artists and most of the staff of MAMA did not know, this was CL's own idea. This was also 2NE1's first comeback after more than a year of their hiatus due to some false scandals, and it was also their last performance before disbanding in 2016, CL - a great leader tried to bring 2NE1 on stage as much as she could whenever she had the chance. And the girl with red hair is Bom (her iconic hair color), not Sandara lol

I commented this on another video, but I feel like it'll be helpful here for a new 2NE1 fan like you! There's a lot that gets washed away after so much time has passed, so here's my best attempt at explaining what surrounded 2NE1 nearing their breakup. An important start: Bom is the one in the red hair. The 2015 MAMA performance was historical to say the least. It was more than just a great performance, but was literally a complete blindside fanservice that NOBODY was expecting after almost 2 years of uncertainty. to To truly appreciate what we (and the members themselves, Bom especially) have finally been able to receive with this comeback requires looking back at a very critical period between 2014-2017 from Bom's "drug" incident and the official disbandment. As a Blackjack that followed them from the beginning, this specific period being surrounded by pure conjecture and ambiguity was nerve-racking. After their strongest comeback and in the MIDDLE of their AON tour (summer 2014), this news of Bom's "drug" incident comes out of quite literally NOWHERE (and who else but shitty tabloid Dispatch?). To pull out a random incident from 4 years prior all of a sudden and incessantly bashing Bom with all sorts of accusations like "drug addict", "drug smuggler", and "meth addict" was actually fucking unhinged. The crazy part is that the dialogue coming from media outlets were extremely misinformed by using the word "amphetamines" and equating it to "meth". Mind you, it was ADDERALL that she had LEGALLY prescribed to her in the US and therefore cleared of her charges in South Korea for those reasons. They also threw accusations like "why have we not known about this until now" and "YG clearly paid hush money" as if these rando media outlets were ENTITLED to know about a celebrity's personal life? The suspicious nature of how this news came out had people coming up with theories (which I highkey believe) that it was used to cover-up the REAL scandal at the time where former president Park Geun-Hye (impeached for corruption) and other government personnel were getting slandered for mishandling the tragic Sewol Ferry incident. Bom had to then drop out of public sight and even leave her role in the Roommate show that was doing pretty well. AON was still going on though until the end of October, so the ONLY time any fan could see a sign of life from her was from those concerts. After that, complete mystery surrounded 2NE1 and their future (3 members? next comeback? disbandment?). End of the year also meant the end of the year special performances, which 2NE1 was a major hit during each of these every year. YG then announced that Bom would not be at the single performance at SBS Gayo Daejun, a performance the members very clearly showed anger and tribute to Bom and her situation. October would be the last time Bom would be seen other than random few sneaky tabloid pictures. Now to paint a picture of why this MAMA performance was iconic. It's late 2015 with 2NE1 on hiatus; Minzy and Dara are off doing their own thing; CL is going strong with her solo releases; Bom is nowhere to be seen for OVER a year. MAMA 2015 had ONLY CL on the artist list and this was better than nothing for Blackjacks. The lights go out during the 2015 MAMA performances, and the members start popping up onto the stage out of nowhere. Fucking crazy. Nobody could've expected what happened next, which was Bom also appearing on the stage, which is why you hear the crowd berserk and cheer their lungs out. You can even hear a very deliberate pause for her entrance (audio plays "2NE1" instead of her part to convey that the group is only 2NE1 with her). You can also hear the absolute uproar at every single one of her parts. Uncertainty returned even after this iconic performance, where it was just a cascade of downhill events: Minzy leaves in 2016, YG then suddenly announces that 2NE1 is disbanding without telling CL and Minzy (didn't even find out via management, but from peers calling them saying they saw it on media reports), Bom released from her contract, and the final "Goodbye" song is released without Minzy. From this point on, the members meet up often privately, but any 2NE1 esque stuff is done as individual side projects or played during solo live performances. It really felt like 2NE1 was dead and only lived on in memories of fans and the members as they tried to reminisce their group by playing their songs at their concerts. Coachella 2022 comes into the picture as a literal carbon copy of the MAMA 2015 performance where fans were blindsided again with the group's appearance. With then more consistent content coming from each of the members spending time together and stuff, signs of hope trickled in of "what if they actually do get together again???". We are now blessed with what we're seeing today where all 4 are happily performing together on stage again, and there's never been anything more satisfying to see and hear.

The Warframe video company asked them to do a cover of "Party of Your Lifetime" by their in game group On-Lyne for the release of their new game Warframe 1999. Both released Dec 13th.
