Fairy Tail has so much more music than just the openings and endings, the main characters each have their own theme songs as well plus this anime has multiple soundtracks containing all the music from the show.

The 2nd half of Fairy Tail is by far better then the first (still solid in my opinion) , but the writer originally just wrote the manga on the fly & he really didn’t know where he wanted to take the story , as it progressed he realized where he wanted to go & it was fantastic. Also their is a sequel series called Fairy Tail 100 year quest on the horizon

i saw the first reaction and was stoked! you continuing??? my gosh i'm here for it. Fairy tail might sometimes get a bad rep for being a little bit fan service oriented, and the whole "power of friendship" trope. but honestly, this anime got me out of a depression. It made me live through SO much. If there were ever a comfort anime where you don't feel bad about just laughing and feeling good? this is it. BUT, that isn't it's limit. You get so many emotional scenes, you cry with characters. The fun thing about fairy tail is that you have several main "team" characters, but the story isn't limited to them. you get side stories, every character in the guild ends up being important in its own way. It's so unique in this way. Yeah sometimes they overdo it, but who cares? You'll end up getting at least 1 character, probably more, that you identify with or like even more, and you can bet you'll get at least some story, arc, or just a feel good moment with them. Fairy tail might have its tropes, but it's magical nonetheless if you let it be 💖

That's exactly what Fairy Tail is! (And despite what some people say, it actually has an amazing story.) It also means a lot to me, not only was it my first, but it changed who I am. I was someone who had no friends growing up and honestly thought the idea of friendship was pointless. This showed me how important friends are, and now I have a small group of friends that I would put my life in the line for.

Fairy Tail is SO GOOD and I love the openings so much! I still get emotional when I hear certain ones XD My top five are definitely Fairy Tail Zero's opening, Strike Back, Masayume Chasing, Snow Fairy, and Believe In Myself. All the ones from the final season took a while to grow on me, but I think the very last one is perfect for the vibe--it's a nostalgic and wonderful farewell. BUT not a farewell for long, because there's a new season coming in the next few years! Honestly, I think you'd also really LOVE checking out the soundtrack to this show. Both official Fairy Tail themes are *iconic* as are a lot of the character themes, especially Erza's. It's so METAL. Fairy Tail has a couple hundred episodes, so it is a commitment, but it's also one of the most heartfelt animes I've ever watched. It makes you laugh and cry and cheer, and even the minor characters are all so memorable and complex that you can't help but get attached. I definitely recommend jumping in and watching it! And there definitely is a lot of comedic fanservice, you're not wrong XD Also, pro tip, because I've seen you ask about seasons on several anime op reactions: anime is easier to understand if you think about it in story arcs rather than seasons. Each new opening represents a new plot or segment of a plot, not a whole new season. A lot of animes just run without breaks because they're just adapting the manga. And when they catch up to the mangas, we get filler arcs (things that don't happen in the manga but were just made up for the anime) while they wait for the manga to come out with new issues. Sometimes there are breaks though, and that's why you see there's Fairy Tail, Fairy Tail (2014), and Fairy Tail (Final Series).

The “butt-naked person” at the end of op 21 is the long wavy haired blond girl with the wings in her hair that always wears a white dress that you saw in previous opening, she’s inside a giant crystal As for who she is exactly… yea she’s 1 of the biggest spoilers for the show and 1 of the most important character within the entire series too being central to multiple arcs, it may not seem like it sometimes with some openings depicting her as cheerful and enjoying the surroundings with everyone else at times but in other times in the opening she’s directly contrasting another character with a much more serious look on her face for a very good reason The only thing I will say is that in the very next opening, op 22 titled fairy tail zero she is depicted alongside a few new characters including ones we’ve already seen in prior openings who’re at an age well past their prime yet this girl even in those openings is always depicted the same age as she always was… she is not what she seems

To answer your observation about there being so many "visually appealing characters", you aren't crazy. The author of the series, Hiro Mashima, is very not shy about putting his characters (male and female) on display for fan-service. All of his other works; Rave Master, Edens Zero, and Hero (ESPECIALLY THIS ONE which is only like a ten chapter manga) are beyond risqué, and are borderline pretty adult at times. He makes sure to include lots of fan-service for every type of person, but you can really tell the types of stuff that he personally likes if you read his works. Good examples being his beyond Tarentino level of making sure that he has his female characters feet on display at all times (like 90% or the girls in Fairy Tail have some kind of foot related scene or Edens Zero where two different girls who's power in the plot revolves around their feet) or how he always has to have some kind of BDSM related character worked into whatever he's working on, no matter how little sense it may make. I respect him for being a man of culture and not having any shame in what he likes if nothing else, but it can get kind of distracting when it happens so frequently and your brain starts picking up on it more.

Fairy tail takes place over 9 years from start to finish, though most of the time is from time jumps during season breaks, so you get to watch all the characters grow up and mature, and the series sequel is still on going

Something interesting to note is that the fairy tail anime actually ended on the 14th opening It wasn’t until a year later that the sequel started airing as a continuation with some majors difference such as redesigned characters with much more sharper features to bring them more in line with the current art style of the manga as drawn by its creator (it’s easier to tell if you compared the previous character designed from op 14 and prior to them op 15 and after), removing the CG magic circles appearing whenever a character were to cast their magic as that was an anime only addition that was never presented in the manga and I think they lessen how much was censored from both violence to even nudity and sexual references to be more in line with the manga too sicne I believe it was airing in a more later time slot for an older audience but dnt quote me on that last bit as I’m not entirely sure but these are the reason for the tone shift for the later openings This is also why the 14th opening seem to have better animation then the previous since at that time it was supposedly the last 1 and they wanted to go out with a bang

Strike back is in almost every long time fan's top three far as I know. And the context is that a minute reversed is all it can take to save lives, hence the clock "Never ending tale" starts their arc against literal demons... Fairy Tail Zero is the origin story of the guild, and it's season is in 2018 if I recall correctly. Everything after is in the final season of season 9

The opening you love that Boa did starts a little after the “Grand Magic Game” story arc. I will be honest with you, Fairy Tail REALLY picks up at/around the Grand Magic Games, but some people give up before they make it to that arc and call the show trash. Maybe I am a little bit late, year it’s been. But right now I am rewatching this anime like 20th time, and saw this video. Fairy Tail is a basic anime that everybody have just to watch. This anime is teaching you how good is have a friend. What friends just have to be. Non anime fans grown up on this. Moreover it’s very energising. If you have problems with weakness, don’t worry. It will help you to learn how to be strong and what is important! Do fairies have tails? More than that, do fairies even exist? Nobody knows for sure. Fairy Tail is a large cast show where villains constenly cycle in out each season + some arcs have no dig villains but have different reason for conflicts plus sometimes villains become our hero's in time this a long running series for a reason theres a lot of twists and turns

they are part of a Guild which is like a modern work union. they do jobs for various clients that have posted flyers or whatever on a job board. the people can pick and choose what job they want to do. the jobs are graded by difficulty and S rank jobs are reserved for S rank magicians only as they are notoriously hard to do. the guild gets a cut of the payment while the person or people get most of the reward out of the job. its how you do things there.

I'm glad you checked out all the openings! You definitely need to also listen to the characters OSTs, either on stream, in a reaction, or just by yourself.You should check out the full "FAIRY TAIL MAIN THEME SONG" on stream or any of the battle OST themes, you know the music that plays during episodes but the full versions. The use of Leitmotif in Fairy Tail is very good, you can actually tell which characters are battling based on the OST being played.

Don't let the nudity and bath make question the seriousness of the situation. And I'm not even joking here. 25:40 That's it until the sequel adaptation comes, which is most likely next year.

Yes there are a LOT of visually appealing characters in this show. Not gonna lie, it was seeing some fanart of a certain red-haired swordswoman that actually got me to check out this show in the first place. And not only is she visually appealing but she is my undisputed number 1 female character in all of anime... And not just because of her looks.

Someone summarized Fairy Tail in a way that really struck me recently that I think gives a good handle for what it is. It's a shounen anime but where most of the growth, for most of the characters, is emotional rather than physical. That's why some people find some of the fights to be a bit unsatisfactory, I think - the payoff is less in the physical reality of the fight than it is the emotional payout. That's also why I never understood those criticisms! (But I won't say they aren't valid to people looking for something different) Def prefer these later openings, but all are amazing. Love hearing the insights!

You should try to watch Fairy Tail! A lot of people drop the anime after a few episodes because it doesn't get much attention and the "power of friendship"... They aren't entarely wrong but if they keep looking at it they will see also them who get stronger and stronger thanks to the experience as well as the fact of love for their guild (Fairy Tail)! Another fact is that the author (Hiro Mashima) had planned the end of fairy tail in the arc of the second opening of the anime, after the manga was very successful he decided to continue the story! The interesting thing is that all the things happened in that part of story is all connected to the end of Fairy Tail, he really did a great job! Honestly I really love that anime, openings, music, story and characters (they are really well made)! Hope you will give it a try :3

I think you'd like the Inuyasha openings and endings, because some of the artists that sang the Fairy Tail openings, sing for the Inuyasha openings and endings as well... though it is an anime older than Fairy Tail 👀

fairy tail was the second anime i've ever seen and it brings me so mcuh nostalgia every time. it may not be the best out there but i love these characters so much TT my top 3: 1. Believe in Myself (21) (the lyrics, the meaning, the voice, the emotions, the visual, the fantastic arc... love this so much) 2. Snow Fairy (1) (the song itself is so good but it's reeeally nostalgic, brings back so many memories) 3. Masayume Chasing (15) (i cry. that's all i can say.)

You should react to the Inuyasha openings! I haven't seen any on KZbin and they're amazing! It is a late 90s early 2000s anime though :) Also, the Cardcaptor Sakura openings are really sweet 😊 (there's only 3) this anime was also made in the 90s by the same artists who did Code Geass.

I do agree seeing you just hit play no prior research nothing like that is more exciting and leaves the surprise element in as people who watch it before or research before I feel like the surprise elements are gone so I think it's good to have it almost spontaneous. I would LOVE to see you react to the Fairy Tail anime! Personally I think the dub has a lot of emotion put behind it and helps with how much tends to happen on the screen, though of course its up to you, I just really love this anime and its soundtrack (not even just the OPs or EDs, the soundtrack for sure is my favorite) Highschool DxD definitely would love to see on patreon, surprisingly, has a lot of good plot and character development

The few things I loved about watching this show were things such as its diverse and incredibly animated openings, and great sense of adventure especially in the early days. I think it got slower later on. I've read the 100 Years Quest manga and things seem to get better, so I'm really looking forward to when the anime comes out

there are 26 openings because when the anime reach a certain arc, the opening changes, ost on the other hand are even better... and the theme is somewhat irish or celtic themes... the anime started year 2009

There are 26 openings but only 25 numbered ones. Fairy Tail Zero is a prequel so it’s not part of the numbering, but it is still included in the series as a whole

fairy tail in general may have some stupid fights with characters not using magic on how they could be used and is instead winning based on friendship, but man the world building, vibe and the adventure of the whole series just feels good.

Yeah, Strike Back is the GOAT. There are OPs that I like the song of more, but not the visuals, and there are ones that I'm not keen on the song, but love the visuals, but Strike Back is the best of both worlds IMO.

The Opening for Happy Sugar Life might be worth checking out. The opening has a well... fun dark twist.
