Info about Gyuri -Her popularity in Idol School only start near the end of the show. She's pretty much an unexpected contestant to be part of the group. -She joined Produce 48, another survival show after their debut. She's the only member that never get any professional training so they went with this reason. -She start acting after she return, which is her actual dream to become an actress. -Her exposure in PD48 and as an actress boosted fromis_9 popularity and she pretty much their most known member by public. -Now she's an actress. She left in good situation, after her contract ended and fromis_9 already pretty popular as a group. -They still interact with each other and have good relationship. Probably one of the best case of an idol left their group.

Love Bomb is still one of my favorite kpop tracks and I don't follow the group very closely. The melodic progression in it is sooo good, the last chorus really feels climactic, and you even get a wonderful post chorus at the very end to wrap up the song. Its composition is just more fleshed out than most modern kpop songs.

The production of this song is insanely good. The producers of this song are the same who also wrote or produced other bangers like Yes or Yes (Twice), Secret Garden (OMG) and Lion Heart (SNSD).

oh i'm so glad others feel that way, the chorus makes me so emotional for some unknown reasons, lovebomb remains one of my all time favorite kpop songs, it's brilliant!!!

This might be going into spoilery territory, but fromis has been going through not only management changes but also concept/sound changes. Their career can be roughly split into three eras: Glass Shoes to DKDK, Love Bomb to FUN, Feel Good to today. Their most recent and most long lasting sound has brought them the most success, especially now that their most recent comeback Supersonic was a major chart success. I hopped onto the formis_9 supremacy train with Talk&Talk, and though their growth has been slow going the music has been very enjoyable!

Thank you for reacting to fromis_9 A little info that I haven't seen anyone in the comment section talked about; Gyuri left not really in a messy situation (although the news did leave the fans in a crying mess). She and the rest of the girls still communicate with each other on their Instagram posts & go out together in a very public manner, which is very, very rare in the K-pop world. Most groups would not acknowledge their former members, as if they never exist. And as for 4:44, they did have a plan to debut in Japan with the Japanese version of "Love Bomb", but c0v¡d happened. They do sing it whenever they have schedule in Japan tho

Gyuri was never officially the 'face of the group' that's just something pd48 fans started saying. She was never the most popular member (Jiheon, Jisun and Hayoung are), but she brought new international fans with her acting, and Korean fans loved her for being the daughter of a military family. fromis_9 are very very popular in the military.

Idk why it was said exclusive contract. BUT--I think Gyuri left because she didn't renew her contract under pledis, while other members did. And because she didn't renew the contract, she didn't need to pay the penalty for breaking the contract for leaving, she just need to promote with fromis 'until' the last contract is over which is 2022.

No, she just didn't sign a new contract with pledis. The rest of the members signed new contracts after the Idol School contracts (which pledis bought from CJ/OTR) expired. There was nothing to do with penalties. exclusive contracts are what most idols have with their companies, all promotions and activities go through that main company. Older artists can have non-exclusive contacts, like how Black Pink members are under contract with YG for all groups actives but NOT for solo activities.

if i didn’t remember it wrong, it’s actually an exclusive contract, bcs when they moved to pledis i think they told them if you want a one year contract or 4 years one ( i think it’s 4 years bcs the rest of the members their contract will end soon) , and she the only one who choose one year contract bcs she want to continue her dream (which is acting) without affecting the members (sorry for my poor english)

If you want a song about dogs you can listen in your own time to TXT’s (a boy group) Cat & dog 😂 yes it has “cat” in the title, but it has the iconic line “I just wanna be your dog”, they also bark in it I like all these Fromis_9 songs, they had such a nice sound back then. I especially like Love Bomb, the way it sounds so upbeat, but also kinda sad at the same time imo Based on this reaction i think you would also enjoy Gfriend’s songs.
