Ha hyun woo served with bold figure in hard rock and metal scene in early 2000s. “Mandrake” would be closer to what he was like back then. Ha hyun is known and proven that he even performed in the opening ceremony of Winter Olympics.

Ha Hyun-woo is the vocalist and sometimes the sub-guitarist of the rock band Guckkasten. I first came to know him through the song 'Mirror'. Guckkasten means 'Camera Obscura' in German, which is a device that gathers light at a single point to project an image. They aim to incorporate such concepts into their music. Their music is far from mainstream. If you want to hear Ha Hyun-woo's more popular songs, he appeared on the music competition TV shows 'I Am a Singer 2' and 'King of Mask Singer' to promote his band. On 'I Am a Singer 2', he made it to the final competition and was a candidate for first place in six out of ten performances, making him the contestant with the most first-place nominations in the show's history. He eventually became the singer of the month in October and made it to the semifinals. Notably, he holds the record for the most second-place finishes in 'I Am a Singer 2' history. On 'King of Mask Singer', he achieved nine consecutive wins, a record that remains unbroken.
