Jay Park is pretty much one of the biggest names in asian hip hop and the poster boy of Korean hip hop and rnb specifically! He massively contributed to these genres becoming mainstream in Korea and paved the way for the current generation in the industry. He truly changed the game, the way labels are being managed and contracts for artists being made with the way he ran AOMG and H1GHR MUSIC. When he stepped into the scene in the early 2010s Korean rnb/hip hop was almost considered underground and labels were mostly screwing artists over but his vision was always to create a place for people to connect, collaborate and share their knowledge. It worked out and Jay walks a fine line between mainstream appeal (having radio friendly pop/dance music) and uplifting the underground culture of black music in Asia (lots of collars with asian rappers and EPs left and right, doing features for free and paying for production costs for smaller artists as well). musically speaking he is super versatile... although he definitely is something like the asian Chris brown over all, he is an entrepreneur and CEO with industry ties similar to how JAY-Z operates. Thats why ROC NATION acknowledged him and signed him as the first asian artist on that label. He runs an alcohol company as well now and expanded his businesses outside of entertainment. He is the blueprint in Asia. He is considered a legend. The mainstream general public loves him and the underground too.

Hii.. I hope u guys read this. This is kinda random but, I was wondering if you guys are hip hop fans, bcs I am. And as a hip hop lover and huge music admirer, I wanna suggest to check out BTS. People hardly know this but BTS has a very strong Hip Hop element on their music, especially old school hip hop. 2 of the members came from underground rappers (RM and Suga/Agust D) and 1 from hip hop street dancer (j-hope). So yea.. they're really good. And they really were and still are the students of the game. This list right here are some of their best songs and tracks. Please react to these : 1. *Monster* by RM (og track from Grown Simba, J.Cole) 2. *Hip Hop Phile* (here they pay homage to the legendss. Talkin abt Tupac, Biggie, JayZ, Nas, Rakim, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg (also specifically talkin abt the album Illmatic, The Chronic, Doggy Style and 2002 too) they also mentioned KRS-ONE, Kendrick Lamar, Gang Starr, Pete Rock, CL Smooth, J.Cole and a lot more. And they basically telling their stories of how they got deep into the culture). 3. *Cypher pt.1-4* by the Rap Line (straight up Cyphers, and pt. 1-3 they added some old school Boom Bap typa beat) 4. *Joke* by RM (og track by Run The Jewels, Oh My Darling) 5. *Born Singer* (og by Born Sinner, J.Cole) 6. *Agust D* and *Daechwita* by Agust D 7. *Persona* by RM (mixed of hip hop and a lil bit of rock) 8. *Sexy Nukim* by Balming Tiger ft. RM 9. *Ddaeng* by the Rap Line (traditional instrument, mixed with trap beat) 10. *Snooze* by Agust D 11. *Strange* by Agust D ft. RM 12. *Change* by RM ft. Wale 13. *Please Don't Die* by RM ft. Warren G 14. *Look Here* I suggest to check out the lyric videos, or MV with lyrics. Bcs their wordplay is amazing, and also deep. These tracks right here serve Vocal, Raps, Lyrics/stories, instruments, just high quality productions. And honestly some of them are pretty underrated and TRUST ME.. just TRUST MEE You will love them Btw thank you
