Hey bro! This is my all time favourite, these 2 were part of a 5 member disbanded girl group, The Ark. with only one hit single. Their company sonehow did them ditty..Sadly.. But all 5 are still best of friends till now The main rapper Yuna Kim is already married. Jeon Minju, was the leader and main dancer of the group.

9 months late but the story of Jeon MInju and Euna KIm is worth hearing about so better late than never. First off, not surprised that a moomoo recommended this song. Many moomoos were fans of Jeon Minju & Euna Kim, who were the leader and the main rapper of the 5 member gg The Ark and later became the spinoff subunit duo Khan. I don't know whether Goodbye Rain was marketed as a pre-debut single but it came out 9 or 10 months before The Ark debuted. The featured male singer is Hyunkyu of Vromance, Mamamoo's label mates at RBW. The Ark is one of the biggest What If? stories in kpop. When they debuted in 2015 they were heralded as the female BTS. Back then girl groups rarely did boy group choreo but The Ark often did excellent BTS and EXO dance covers, some the most difficult boy group choreo at that time. The Ark uploaded a dance cover of BTS's Boy in Luv and BTS responded with a reaction vid in which they were very impressed. BoA called Minju "Little BoA" because Minju's combo of dancing & singing skills in a charismatic, pint sized package reminded BoA of herself. Euna is a Korean-American from NY who was recruited by YG and was being considered for Blackpink until she left the company. You might want to check out Euna's pre-debut single Without You Now, an old school r&b throwback that featured prominent hip hop artists Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae and Bizzy. Like Mamamoo, The Ark didn't debut with a typical gg marketing concept and they declared from the start they didn't do cutesy, innocent or sexy and their debut stage started with a hip hop dance intro. The MV for their debut (and only) single The Light told a story of a mother who lost her daughter in the Sewol Ferry tragedy. They were something completely different in kpop and who knows what their impact would have been if their agency hadn't disbanded them. The Ark is one of if not the biggest waste of talent in kpop history. A few years after The Ark disbanded Minju & Euna reunited as Khan, which is when I discovered them. Once again Khan suffered the same tragic fate as The Ark when their agency disbanded them after one single called I'm Your Girl?, one of my favorite under the radar songs from 2018. I called them Mamamoo Jr because they were a bff duo with excellent singing, rapping and dance skills who didn't fit gg stereotypes and like MMM they didn't lip sync and always used hand mics while performing. During the year or so they were active Khan uploaded about a dozen terrific covers on their yt channel including songs by western artists, BTS, Bol4, and my favorite k-cover of Despacito. These days Jeon Minju is no longer in the industry but she's still a bright ray of sunshine and she lights up my life whenever she uploads a song or dance cover on her yt channel. Euna Kim is married and living in Arizona. The Ark remain close friends and the members traveled to the US for Euna's wedding last year and sang The Light during the reception. Very appropriate since a line in the chorus is "We're in this for life!" 😂

I miss this two sm Euna Kim actually wrote this along with others she is amazing they actually debuted in a grouo after this wich disbanded and years of trying for both girls on kpop they find a contract and formed Khan as a duo after months not even a year I think again they disbanded.. still sad to this this they are amazing and talented af.. still miss them.
