3:57 yes ur correct! Somi did taekwondo for 9 years! Also in a countdown live that she did she talked about how she actually called her taekwondo teacher and all the people in that MV scene are his students! Which she knew 2 or 3 of them of her taekwondo’ teacher students because they were in the same class! I'm a 57 year old KPOP fan and the part where the male dancers all in black join in is actually reminiscent of Madonna's Vogue in Somi's talk sing part. Also these are the male dancers that Chung Ha used in her Stay Tonight video back in 2020.

Somi is an amazing Soloist. I agree with all of the other song recommendations from the other comments. Just thought y'all should know that "Dumb Dumb" and "XOXO" are part of a storyline. "Dumb Dumb" is first, then "XOXO" "Anymore" is all in English and is one of my faves from her. Somi was signed to JYP from 2014? up until late 2018. She then signed with The Black Label (under YG) and is still there as of now.

Somi is a true star. She’s an excellent blend of talent, singer, dancer, visual & entertainer. She’s been in so much stuff over the years & it’s truely criminal how little she’s be able to express herself musically. I look forward to you guys doing a deep dive on her, she’s a couple of really catchy tunes in her catalogue. Make sure you include her song Anymore, which was released from her XOXO album & got an MV. I think you’ll particularly enjoy it.

So a LONG time ago, I watched a reality show that featured Seulgi and Moonbyul. I watched for them but ended up briefly attached to every girl on there. I recall a solo trainee named Somi who hadn't debuted yet. I wonder if this is her. If so, I'm happy to see things are going well for her 👍🏾

When she did that show, "Idol Drama Operation" she had already debuted with I.O.I. I only know this because in the show, they make references to another show that she did before that one called "Unnies Slam Dunk" where she debuted with the "Unnies" Girl group that was made specifically for that show.

I.O.I was formed through a reality show called Produce 101. The 101 participants competed for 11 spots in the group. The girls all came from different companies. They were only contracted to perform as a group for about year, then they would would all return to their respective companies. This show was after Somi had participated in "Sixteen" where Twice was formed. I.O.I had a couple of "comebacks" I believe within that year.
