You know Eve, from the bible, who broke the rules by eating the apple. She did something forbidden. Psyche was Cupid's wife, who was to never look at him, as he had ordered for her never to see him. She took a peek one day. She did something forbidden The Bluebeards Wife tale involves a man who had multiple wives, all of which he murdered. He hid the bodies in the basement, and told his new wife never to go down there. One day, she decided to break in and found the last wife's body. She did something forbidden. This is where the line "I wish for what's forbidden" comes from and the verses tend to show a modern twist of doing things that are forbidden as idols/in relationships

They are fallen angels. Seraph or Seraphim (plural) "an angelic being, regarded in traditional Christian angelology as belonging to the highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy, associated with light, ardor, and purity." But they are both light and darkness. It's a really cool concept that allows for a lot of room to explore. Much different than many of their peers allowing them to focus more on their flaws, exploring their "real selves," cursing, taboos, etc. Titles like impurities, no celestial, unforgiven, eve, psyche, and the bluebeards wife all do have religious ties.

I would recommend to watch their album trailers: 1. The World Is My Oyster (FEARLESS) 2. The Hydra (ANTIFRAGILE) 3. Burn the Bridge (UNFORGIVEN) 4. Good Bones (EASY), perhaps their portrait ver. too. Good Bones is STRONGLY recommended. It would definitely surprise you with their production quality! The next couple of mv reactions I would recommend will be EASY (MV and the Garage), Smart (MV & perhaps performance vid too), Swan song (performance vid).

You should really listen to some of the remixes or alternate versions of Eve Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife. BIBI has a great version on KZbin, Rina Sawayama has probably my fave version. The version with Upsahl too is fire.
