Okay here we go: NCT as a whole now has 23 members (as 2 were added for this comeback) and consists of 4 subunits (technically 6 now but I will get to that later) NCT 127: 127 officially consists of 10 members. Atm there are 9 members active in the unit. However, they started out as 7, then added 2 and then one more. One member, Winwin, is currently active in the Chinese subunit and does not promote with 127. 127 stands for the longitude of Seoul btw. Their leader is called Taeyong, who is also unofficially the leader of NCT as a whole. (the first one you called pretty in kick it) NCT Dream: Dream consists of the 6 (OT7) youngest members of NCT. They used to have a graduation system where the older members graduated and left the group, however, earlier this year this system was abolished. The one member who graduated is supposedly coming back for their next comeback! (this now has happened for their comeback Déjà vu) NCT U: The U stands for united. This subunit is rotational, meaning that for each song and concept the members change. Chosen are the ones that 'best fit the concept'. That is why you will see very different numbers of members when watching their MV's. Personally, I think it is one of the best 'features' of NCT since anyone can pair up and create something new. WayV: The Chinese group WayV is the newest subunit. They are officially under Label V because of the conflicts between Korea and China, however, this label is part of SM Entertainment and they are a part of NCT. NCT 2018: NCT 2018 was a line-up of all NCT members in 2018 (they were 18 at the time before 3 chinese members were added to form WayV). They promoted one album together and are well known for performing Black on Black! NCT 2020: same as 2018 only that it is 2020 now and now all WayV members are included and two new members were added! There are several members who are in more than one subunit, for example: Haechan: 127, Dream, U Winwin: 127, U, WayV and of course Mark: 127, U, Dream As you have probably noticed by now Nct is a multinational group with members from all over the world (japan, thailand, china, korea, canada, usa) Mark, Ten, Lucas and Taeyong are also part of SM's supergroup SuperM aka the Avengers of Kpop that you have already reacted to! I'll leave it at that for now. Excuse any grammatical mistakes, it's just not what I focused on.. ;)

Taeyong means everything for me and it is very important for Nctzens. That center of all centers , main rapper, main dancer, visual of the group, songwriter, leader of the 22 members and much more. He is always very, very hard working, has a very different personality. And also from staffs to choreographers to producers, all said Taeyong was the busiest person lately. He's really trying hard and very talented. He is subjected to bad words he does not deserve, but he always smiles and smiles. He says the words that give me life. He says great things in Vlive posts when he is with members. He has a very beautiful heart. He has very sensitive, beautiful behavior. Taeyong revolutionized in this CB, And this comeback is BOP. NCT U is actually a rotational sub unit in NCT lol (the members change each comeback depending on who fits the concept, song more) NCT currently has 4 Sub Units : NCT U (I’ve already explained their concept ) Then there’s NCT Dream who at first had this whole graduating concept where if they were to turn 20 (internationally) they would graduate into another unit (so they were also not a fix unit but are now one since SM decided to make them a fixed due to popular demands) they have 7 members and one of them was here (Jaemin, white hair, deep voice) Next is NCT 127, they have 9(10) members (WinWin has been currently promoting with WayV so he’s not active in 127 these days, Jaehyun (the guy with the red-ish hair), Taeyong (the guy who rapped in the beginning, with the blue hair)and Doyoung (the one who sang the first pre-chorus) are the members in 127 who were in this comeback ) their a fixed group, their concept is too basically spread NCT’s music and Kpop in general around the world. And lastly WayV, NCT’s Chinese Sub Unit That debuted last year, not all of the members are Chinese but they are of Chinese descent, they have 7 members and it’s a fixed group (Lucas (black hair ) and Xiaojun (blond hair)are here). In my opinion NCT is the most unique in kpop. They have few subunits: NCT U, NCT 127, NCT Dream and Wayv(chinese members). If you want to know more about them, you need to check a guide because they have new members they're more than 20 members now hahaha.
