"Why do they look familiar?" the whole Omega X concept is taking former members of disbanded groups (spectrum, limitless, snuper, seven o'clock, gidongdae, 1team, Enoi, 1the9) and forming a new group. Can't tell who is who yet, they are all from groups I never got to and there are 11 of them. Being a multi is freaking hard.

just to fill you in a bit about omega x: omega x consists of 11 members from disbanded/inactive groups: spectrum, limitless, snuper, seven o’clock, gidongdae, 1team, enoi & 1the9 (that may be why you recognize some of them lol). this is basically their second chance 🥺 they have no set positions! they recently announced a leader. yes, vamos was indeed their debut lol they have one other title track “what’s goin’ on”, which is their 1st comeback. they also have mv’s for 3 of their b-sides: ‘omega x’ (yes, that’s the title of the song lol), ‘baila con ox’ & ‘liar’. so i’d recommend any of those, if you do decide to check them out again! a bit of info i should throw in about ‘play dumb’… one of the members (hangyeom) talked with their company to change their concept and give them a refreshing concept for their comeback, in his words “before it’s too late”. anyways, thank you for reacting to them! they’re one of my ults so it makes me happy when people do check them out… not many people react to them so thank you! i’m so glad you enjoyed them :) [ a few timestamps to help you: 6:16 9:09 10:24 13:02 - that’s hangyeom 😆 (‘96 liner). 16:43 - that’s jaehan (‘95 liner), the leader. ]

Omg I did not expect this reaction. I love their sound! I first heard love me like and I was immediately interested, they definitely had alot of potential! Vocals, rap and visuals are 10/10 ✨👌🏻

I just discovered this group a few months ago and they are lit. I think Love me Like is fantastic. Another group to stan yay

I was recommended 'Love Me Like' and it immediately went on my top 20 of 2021 list. It's so good. It's one of my favorite Kpop songs. I can't get into more then 1 group at a time or I get overwhelmed, but Omega X is definitely on my list of groups I want to get into. Until then, I'm gonna enjoy their music/mv.

i love omega x and i've been following them since pre-debut after yechan was announced as a member, i adored 1the9 and have been following all the members on their new paths. if you do decide to dive deep into omega x i suggest "an (un)helpful guide to omega x" by azreeholic, it's one of the best guides i've seen for them. there's also their pre-debut series "loading - one more chanx" which made me fall in love with them

He (Hangyeom) might also look familiar because he looks like he could be NCT Taeyong's brother and really kinda channels the same sort of energy/stage presence...imo. A good video of theirs to put faces to names, is their performance video called 'Omega X', because some angel of a fan subtitled it with their names. 🙌 It's also just REALLY good.

I just discovered Omega X 7months ago, now I'm so deep into them. Vamos was the first one to draw me into them, also the first song of them I've heard. So in love with the beat! Now I play "Liar" on repeat. Hope you can check it out, too!

Im so happy you checked out OmegaX! They're a group with members from disbanded groups which is probably why you might have recognized some of them. Also, when you learn about OmegaX, I'd also recommend groups like Blitzers (debuted last year), Nine.i (debuted this year), and Blank2y (debuted this year)😊

Okay so here I come with the long ass book comment to save the day. Omega X is a group from spire ent. The whole premise of this group is to give idols that have previously debuted in groups that have disbanded or become inactive a second chance. So this explains why they don't seem like rookies cause they are not, this also explains why some of them might be familiar to you if you have watched them from their original group. The one that you keep pointing out for being a problem is Hangyeom originally from seven o clock now in OX also he participated in mixnine. We have boys from Enoi, spectrum, 1team, 1the9, snuper. A few of them have also participated in survival shows. They came out of the gate strong with vamos but they are given free reign to try what they want musically. I know that you said you won't really dive into them to deep, but with the fact they are on their second chance of achieving their dream that you will consider looking into them more as they deserve all the love in the world. The announcement of members for this group was fun they gave a video where we couldn't see their face of them dancing and gave us their birth year in Roman numerals to try and guess who it is. It was a great time. Please if you wanna know more let me know I will be happy to talk about them all day. Hopefully we have another For X ( Fandom name) in the making. P.s also they do not have set positions as they can do everything and they do not have a set leader as they all take the role when needed based on their specialty. Also another group to check out that just debuted is Blank2y as they also have some second chance idols.

Omega X is not a group I've gotten into. However, that said, Love Me Like is in my top 10 songs of the year so far.

They are all from disbanded/inactive groups Jaehan - spectrum wasn in produce101 s2 Hangyeom orange hair play dumb - seven o clock and was in mixnine Sebin - snuper (inactive) was in the unit Trolley green hair kid in play dumb Taedong - gidongdae (predebut group disbanded) was in boys 24 and produce 101 s2 Yechan - under19 contestant and it's group 1the9 Hwichan-limitless (inactive not officially disbanded but kind of disbanded because the company is no longer there) Enoi Kevin (enoi - jinwoo (real name changed to Kevin as stage name because xen is also jinwoo) pink hair kid who fell down in play dumb Junghoon (enoi- jkid) were just having fun in vamos or the kid in the toiled who gaps about the tennis ball news in play dumb Hyuk (enoi- gun) (the one with the cast in play dumb the time out overtime) 1team Xen - ( 1team - jinwoo (real name stage name because Kevin is also named jinwoo) drawing the giant tennis ball Jehyun water boy in play dumb

to answer your question to who they are, all of them are from inactive or disbanded groups: jaehan (spectrum), hwichan (limitless), sebin (snuper), hangyeom (seven o'clock, he also was on mixnine and made it to the final lineup so that's why he might seem familiar), taedong (gidongdae, who actually never really debuted, which is kinda sad), xen/jinwoo & jehyun (1team), kevin/jinwoo & junghoon & hyuk (enoi), as well as yechan from 1the9. they don't have a leader, nor do they have set positions to give them more artistic freedom (for example xen, he used to be the main vocalist in 1team and now he basically raps more than he sings). if you want to learn more about them and/or get into them, then you should watch their reality show "ONE MORE CHANX", but i also command "A Guide to OMEGA X" by Blue Desk, both of these are fun and also educative. also, i really like how you react to things, it's so fun to watch. have a nice day. (edit; i have to correct myself, they do have a leader now, which is jaehan, but originally, they didn't have a leader.)
