If you scan the yt reactions of one ok rock, majority of people have very long standing reactions of one ok rocks live performances because they are better than the music videos. If you have any fear of them being blocked then just pause and talk for a little bit or put a filter over it. But I’ve seen multiple times where one ok rock came and personally commented on the video and thanked them for the reactions to the live performances. Also Taka does a lot of covers and since they aren’t originals, no jeopardy of them being blocked. One notably amazing cover Taka does is Adele’s hello

Thank you for the reaction! This song, in particular, is not my favorite, although it's pretty decent, it won't make it to my playlist. I would recommend you to check out the 'Liar', the song that got me into ONE OK ROCK a decade ago (wow so long ago) and it is still my favorite song of theirs. I also recommend "Mighty Long Fall' and "The Way Back". Love the older songs with the j-rock vibe to them, cause now their sound is more flat to me and yeah, a bit like late Three Days Grace indeed.

There are not many MVs, and a lot of live videos out there. I'd suggest "Stand Out Fit In" and "Wasted Nights" from Eye of the Storm (2019). Their last album, Luxury Disease (2022) had "Renegades" and "Save Yourself". The energy of their live performances is great.

Underrated channel, first time watching but you had really good insights. One Ok Rock has pretty much tried a variety of rock genres, they're more of indie and punk in their early days, some had hiphop kinda sound to it and the current lead guitarist often raps back in the day when they're still a 5 member band, then they went hard rock, and for a rock band, they also did some ballad and a lot of their songs also sounds very emotional and the like, they sometimes play their songs with an orchestra, recently when they went international they played more pop rock songs, their latedt album "Luxury Disease" felt like they finally found the sound that they want to play. The album had songs with pop-rock, old school rock sounds (some sounds like it was made by Queen) and other stuff. They also had collabs with many international artists/bands like Avril Lavigne, Sleeping With Siren, 5SOS, Simple Plan. Co written (i believe) a song with Ed Sheeran and Brendon Urie, coldrain, the list goes on i just cant remember all of them. I would recommend their heavier songs like - One By One (preferrably the live version from the 35xxxv Tour) - Mighty Long Fall (preferrably from the one performed at Tokyo Dome) - The Beginning (their most popular song, 208M views in youtube, preferrably the yokohama stadium 2014 with mighty long fall cause i believe its the best live performance of this song that they have played) - Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer ( i believe this was the song that made them very popular in japan and in international and what made them known, has 120M views, also prefer the 2014 yokohama stadium live because they played this last and they were going nuts with it but no problem with the MV cuz thats cool too) - Ending Story ( i think just go with the live version again and i believe there's only one thats in yt rn so go ahead) Thats it for the meantime, i went full OOR nerd on this one 😭

One ok rock, they're a japanese band and I'm glad you loved Taka's voice. He's an excellent vocalist. I recommend you to react to their songs "Mighty Long Fall", "Clock Strikes" and "Broken Heart Of Gold". Can you also check out JO1 ? They're a japanese boygroup with lots of influence from kpop. I recommend their latest releases "Venus" and "Tiger"

I absolutely 💯 love OOR from Japan 🇯🇵. Taka the front man has a fantastic voice. They have some great Songs and my favorite is “Fight the Night” (orchestra). The other song choice would be “Renegades”. His family members are also musicians. The band members are top 🔝 level instrumentalist. Their live performances are insanely huge in Japan. They are definitely worth listening to. He recently supported the XPop Group XG by leaving a comment with their Executive Producer, Simon after “TGIF” was posted.

I have only ever heard the band pronounced "One OK Rock" like it's spelled. Never "Krock"! Curious where you heard that suggestion. THIS is an amazing song as your first introduction to OOR! Watching your face was fun! Two songs (if NOT live version).... Renegades and We Are. But they have some amazing live versions... Their newest album is almost all in English. Their earlier songs are in Japanese or Japanese & English. I hope someday I can see them in concert. Thanks for the review.

Next to K Pop i'm First and foremost a huge Fan of Rock & Metal especially J Rock & Metal and One Ok Rock is definitly one of the Bands that I Love and Songswise I Like No Scared, I was King and Save Yourself (definitly worth checking Out) also they Did a Special collaboration Song with the Vocalist Masato from Coldrain, Mah from SiM (Silence iz Mine) and Kenta Koie (Crossfaith) Mah Calls them together the Japanese Dreamteam xD but unfortunately I couldn't find a decent enough Video(in my opinion) to this Song on KZbin for you to react to Also if you want a Song within J Rock/Metal with a Heavy Breakdown definitly check Out girugamesh (Japanese pronunciation of gilgamesh) with their latest Track engrave (they have been gone for 6 Years and are finally Back since last Year)

But honestly even if you put a blocker on the video for us I bet most of us would be ok with that because they are great in there videos but the videos have nothing on the live performances. I've never seen a better band live not only the quality of the band and Taka's voice live but the interactions with the crowds and emotions projected are on god level. You would be missing so much if you didn't check a live performance you will understand once you experience it. The fan created versions sound just as great but you still miss a lot. Live these boys spill there souls out to the crowd and the crowd spills theirs right back. I hope you get to see what I mean
