FIRST TIME REACTING TO Pentatonix ft. Todrick Hall - Wizard Of Ahhhs

I cant get over how they picked the songs that retold the story so well! The transition from Scott to Mitch with the “do you” was brilliant! Notice too Scott, the scarecrow wanted a brain so his song said “I’m thinking about” and Mitch, the tinman wanted a heart, so his words “my heart is damaged” Then Kirstin sings “you’re lying on the cold hard ground” to Avi who is a”lion on the ground” ....just so so so well played! Kirstin dreamt of being on Broadway (which she has done now) so she was spectacular! Fun Fact: Scott is currently writing a Broadway musical.

This concept came from Todrick Hall and yes, SO creative! Taking modern songs to tell the story of the Wizard of Oz and of course, PTX kills it with their vocals and performances ❤️🔥🙌

The little dog in the beginning is Todrick's and it's name is Toto. He's a huge Wizard of OZ fan. It's so brilliant. Todrick is a genius!

I love this video too…only thing that bugs me is that Kevin didn’t have a bigger part. They made him Toto. Then they kind of cut him off in the end sequence. He is so important to this mashup, he should have been more featured. I agree with you though, Todrick is so creative to have come up with this concept!

They needed Kevin on-screen in all scenes, and they were running out of characters. He *couldn't* play the Scarecrow, Tinman, or Cowardly Lion; all that was left was Toto. As for the ending sequence, much as that looks and sounds like Scott, Mitch, and Avi singing to Kirstie, they're *supposed* to be the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Cowardly Lion singing their goodbyes to Dorothy. Toto couldn't be part of that; he was going home with Dorothy. And since Todrick wrote and produced this he could claim precedence to sing both his goodbye and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." Should Toto have been more prominent? IMO, yes; I think he should have been just to the right of Avi. But no one was asking for my opinion, or yours.

I’ve heard some inmates make folks dentures in prison too. You kids today are so disrespectful. This is a Todrick Hall production. Meaning he put this together. This was his vision. And it features Pentatonix. Not the other way around. So give credit where credit is due. Do your research. At least learn how to read when you see the beginning of the video. How would you like someone else taking credit for your work? And because it’s a Trodrick Hall production you can green screen it. Other than that. Good video. But I’m still going to dislike for the disrespect.
