The Five Faces of New Pentaholics 1. The most common is the Mitch Slapped. Commonly found when Mitch is heard for the first time in Hallelujah, The Prayer, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, and doing Aha! at the Star Vista. 2. The Wide Eyed Look of Disbelief. Normally found when you hear their Wall of Sound. Found when listening to Mary Did You Know, Imagine, Amazing Grace, The Prayer and Mad World. 3. The I Didn’t Want It to End face. Most commonly found after listening to the 90s Dance Medley. It can also be found after listening to all their medleys and evolutions. 4. The Teary Eyed Look. This is commonly found when listening to an emotional song of theirs or just the sheer beauty of their work. Commonly found when listening to Mary Did You Know, Hallelujah, Amazing Grace, Imagine, The Prayer, Prayers for This World and most especially Thank You. 5. The What Did I Just Hear Face. Happens when Pentatonix starts strong, or when you hear a really special note or Kevin sound. Is usually accompanied by rewinding the video or song to make sure your ears really heard what they heard. Those times are too many to list, but the most common rewind at the start moment is the beginning of Sound of Silence.

Yes, Kirstie is Latina. The only member change since they started is Matt, who sings bass and took Avi’s place in 2017. Some other songs where Kirstie is featured is “Be My Eyes”, which she wrote, and “Say Something”, and “Wizard of Ahhhs”, which could be done on Broadway, and “My Favorite Things”…just a few that you should react to.

While Kirstie is Latina, I don't believe she is fluent in Spanish. Much like Scott, she is very good in learning the songs in various languages when they perform them(she has also sung Japanize lyrics when on tour there). Scott has performed French(Papaoutai) and Italian(The Prayer). Of the group, we all know that Kevin is fluent in Mandarin and I think other languages as well.

If you really want a special treat with Pentatonix, they sing songs in several languages...it's great !! They're FANTASTIC...check out... "Perfume Melody" (Japanese); "Gangum Style" (Korean)(also blooper video); "Papaouti" (French) ...other songs have parts in Spanish, Italian et. al.

I can’t remember if you have listened to any of their Evolution videos yet, but if not, please do. A good one to start with is Evolution of Micheal Jackson because you will know so many (all?) of the songs. They record these in a studio set-up, run through them a couple of times and then choose the best one to post. So it’s minimal production, maximum talent. They’ve done it with a couple of artists, you can take your pick. Loved your reaction to this one! Peace …

You should check out Citizen Queen, a female acapella group that Scott put together in 2018-2019. There were originally 5 members, but now down to 4. They have also moved beyond just acapella, and are becoming a huge girl group in the industry. Their ranges are INSANE!!! They have several covers as well as original music. You should check out Killing Me Softly!
