"Self-destructive healing" is such a perfect description for anti-anxiety meds that actually work. The reprieve is such a joyous escape - even if it's temporary, even if it's only going to make you feel worse later. The musicality of this track really expresses the synthetic happiness of being able to stop a panic attack in its tracks. Great reaction. I'm still going through your playlist, but I hope you've heard Ren with Eden Nash as you've mentioned liking the reggae feel to some of Ren's songs. "Humble" and "Ocean" are wonderful, upbeat songs that haven't yet gotten as much attention as they deserve.

Valium is the brand name of diazepam. Diazepam is one of a class of drugs called benzodiazepines, which includes drugs like Xanax (alprazolam), Klonopin (clonazepam), and Ativan (lorazepam), among others. Basically, any of these drugs calms anxiety and is also often abused and really addictive. Benzodiazepines affect the same neurotransmitters in the brain that alcohol does.

I’m back! This is one of my favourites. He dose sing in reggae style in some songs the big push his band he dose a cover of I Shot the sheriff/ Road to Zion/ Hip Hop this version is the best version. On the big push channel. Thanks I’ll be watching the rest.

As some have said, please make sure to do one of the live versions of Blind Eyed. Ren has said it was originally the live form but they made a different version for the music video that's more like a pop song and he said he regrets making that version. The angry car park attendant one is pretty hilarious.

I watched another reactor with some experience with this drug listen to this song. He said that it's supposed to even out extreme mood swings and other psychological extremes. He said that the problem a lot of people encounter with it, is that it can end up removing all emotional feedback and make the user feel mentally numb. Hard to imagine waking up and having zero feelings about your day.

That’s pretty much correct docs prescribe it for anything these days but mostly anti depressant but it’s VERY addictive and that’s why smackheads are desperate to get it when they’ve got no smack. I took it for a while and I was zombied out completely and took a long time to get off of it. I could get some today if I wanted I just tell my doc I’m depressed and they’ll lob me a box of diazepam. Dangerous horrible stuff

@Ian Elkins The pharmaceutical side of medicine is clearly broken. My brother is struggling with kidney issues right now and asked the doctor for some pain meds until they can operate (he described the pain as feeling like his hip is dislocated). The doctor refused any pain meds without any explanation.

yeah that is wild. I was diagnosed with depression so I took a bunch of different medication for it and I lost empathy. Someone could tell me there dog died and I'd be a lump on a log but I also just assumed that the meds are doing it's job. I stopped taking those medications because what I experienced was wild mood swings in happiness or sadness. I was at work once and I was so sensitive one day that literally someone was helping me with a power point and I hysterically started crying over it. I'm like wtf is happening... I was taking 500 mg Trazodone, Zoloft, and clonidine which is a blood pressure med for sleep at night. They also gave me this ADHD med guanfacine which was horrible. I hope your brother gets the help that he needs I read the comments below as well man!

Love this Song, could see you enjoyed it too, Ren can write catchy hooks if he wants too but it's always his lyrics and word play that fascinate me, nothing is written just as a fill everything he writes has a meaning, double meaning, a play on words or there is a message, i think you would like an early song of his, Ren - 1990's and Ren - Hold On, both are just Hooky and Catchy Songs

As a genuine aside from the music and reaction -I feel compelled to tell you that your confusion about the drug makes me happy. It is in no way sufficient evidence for me to conclude that the world of opiate/Benzo/ amphet addictions are miles away from personal or closely related experience. .. But, it certainly makes me think that's a distinct possibility. And that makes me happy.

Diazepam is the generic name, Valium is the trade name, it’s the same drug. It is a benzodiazepine a class of drugs generally thought of as sedatives or depressants they are used treat anxiety, seizures, and muscle relaxants of course they also cause drowsiness, sleepiness etc Valium is one of the oldest in this class of drugs and is longer acting then say Ativan or Xanax. These drugs are highly addictive!!! Ren is the bomb, he has been thru a lot and shares his experiences so vividly. This video is “dope” and he is a musical and lyrical genius ✌🏼🫶🏼✌🏼

She's right. Valium is the name brand, and diazepam is the generic. Dilantin is for seizures.

If you do blind eye only do the live version bc the producer took the life out of the song. But don’t do the live street performance with horrible audio
