They debuted in 2018 They are ages 23 - 26 Fandom name is Stay They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 181 (#3 in KPop) Changbin 152 (#11) Han 148 (#12) Hyunjin 25 Felix 22 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Four Time Billboard 200 #1 Producers - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 11th, 12th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography. Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.

Welcome to the Stray Kids rabbit hole....the amount of songs, will keep you going for a long time. They have so many different genres as well. Most of their headliner songs are similar to the loud, chaos type that the media coined Mala(spicy) Genre as they did not fit regular genre types. They like to put a few different genres in each song. They are so talented. There will be a lot of songs you will enjoy. Hall of Fame, Topline, Megaverse, ComFlex, Easy, S-Class, Victory Song, their debut song District 9 etc...enjoy!

For someone new to K-POP music, it might be helpful to understand that K-POP is not a genre of music but an entire industry of diverse genres. Some groups lean more to one genre but many incorporate numerous genres all within one song. Stray Kids is one of those groups. They are known for their loud, high energy music but they have amazing vocals and ballads as well. They rap, they sing, they dance, they self-produce. Just ask the fandom (called Stay) for the styles you like and we can dish up whatever you prefer.

Felix is the one with the deep voice from Australia. His parents are from Korea, moved to Australia where Felix and his 2 sisters were born and still live in Australia. Felix said he got his deep voice from his fsther. Felix said his father have a very low voice. In an interview Felix said he was 13, woke up one morning with a deep voice, he thought he was sick. He asked his mother was he sick, she said no, your going through puberty. React to Felix voice duality. Felix voice abilities will amaze you.

About Stray Kids......... 3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han (two of their main rappers) Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut with a group (any group), he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and HAN. They wrote and produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group, and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on KZbin. They write and produce the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. But over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. They started with 9 members (in their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing) but Woojin left in Oct 2019 and Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - their main dance unit, consisting of Hyunjin, Felix, and Lee Know. But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - their main vocal unit, consisting of Seungmin and I.N. But again, all 8 members have great singing voices and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix (the deep-voiced guy) - however unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader of the group) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Australian, so English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in both Korean and Japanese. The group can sing and rap in all three languages. They also speak some Chinese and French, but don't usually use those in their music. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music is super GO GO GO. Stray Kids also write / sing beautiful ballads and have performed a few songs for K-drama soundtracks. They also collab with / produce for other idol groups and individual singers from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S.

@@WhiteCollarRhymes - when K-pop members leave their groups, the reason is almost never revealed. They just release a vague statement that "the member left for personal reasons." No one really knows why he left Stray Kids. There were / are rumors, but nothing has ever been confirmed.

Thank you for reacting to Stray Kids. They are an amazingly talented group. They produce their own songs (which is not common in Kpop) and they are great dancers, rappers, singers and have great stage presence. They also have some of the best MVs in the industry. Since they write their own music and lyrics they have the freedom to experiment with all genres, creating innovative sounds and striking beats. Their lyrics are always meaningful (not sure if you had the subtitles on, but I recommend reading the lyrics). They have over 180 songs to their credit (the group debuted in 2018, very prolific), so you have a lot to choose from, but for now I recommend Megaverse and S-Class. Their B sides are great as well, if you want to listen to one of their more melodic songs I recommend Cover Me. Looking forward to more Stray Kids reactions, I am positive you’ll love them.

I loved your reaction, I recommend you watch an older video and a newer one at the same time so you can see their styles and progress. They created their own genre which is malataste, they always surprise because they are noisy. They are self-produced, they have a subdivision that is 3 Racha, they are the producers (Bang Chan, the leader of the group, Changbin and Han, are the rappers but they have incredible vocals) Dance Racha (Lee Know the main dancer, Hyunjin the visual and Félix the one with the deep voice) and finally the two vocals Seungmin and I.N. (Jeongin). Most of them have songs written by themselves and collaborate with each other. I recommend that you listen to Maniac, Back Door and Thounderus which are older. And from the latest Megaverse, Hall of Fame and Item. They have beautiful ballads like Leave (composed by Changbin), Never ending story and Cover Me (composed by Hyunjin), also listen to songs sung only by Han Jisung, he has a beautiful voice apart from being an excellent rapper and lyricist.

The metal to kpop pipeline really got me as a man in my mid 20s 😅 last year i travelled to paris to see stray kids at lollapalooza, i got tickets for hyde park this july and i am so hyped to get to see them live again, they put on an insane show For me, what makes stray kies so special, is how much they do. 3 of the 8 members are a rap trio called 3RACHA, before stray kids were a thing those 3 were putting out rap music on soundcloud. They learned how to produce and now they write, compose, arrange, and produce stray kids' music. On their youtube can see the behind the scenes of them in the recording booth and it's always one of those 3 behind the glass while someone is recording, directing the member singing. It's just so amazing to watch them do every step of the process themselves, seeing the credits for songs when new albums come out always makes me laugh because there's barely anyone else that touches the songs except the stray kids members themselves. It's just so unique and it really shows in the music they put out

Im in the same boat as you.. i absolutly never wanted to listen to Krap-pop bubblegum stuff. Never. Then at like 4am i kinda wandered around yt and ended up listening to someones soundtrack and this song was on the list and i had to back up and actually watch watch the video. My nature is to listen to metal mostly. This song started and the bass line grabbed my ass and sat me down to teach me something new. This whole album is mindblowing. The videos are stunning visual f'n delights. If they didnt have the notorious synced dancing i would have NEVER believed this is a K-pop band. So give the rest of their newest album a shot. And mind that im a 54 year old that grew up on black sabbath and iron maiden as a kid. My first concert was metallica (kill em all tour) with ozzy as the headliner. And i almost beat the crap out of my best friend cuz she didnt wanna go to the concert early enough to catch some unknown (to her) opening band. It takes some doing to impress me.

Stray Kids normally have subtitles/closed captions for those who don't understand Korean. Since they write their own lyrics, they take a lot of pride in what they say. Most of them are very relatable. I'm also going to reply to myself with a story line list if you would like to peruse it. A breakdown of the MV for you. I think the giant figures represent Fear & stage fright. (They also seem to be based on Japanese spirits of drowned sailors called Umibozu) They dissipate when the words of the emotions in the children's heads disappear. I believe the floating characters are the words Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Happiness/pleasure. (This is what I have been told. It seems to be a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and I can read none of those.) There are four factions for four groups of the members. Since the four factions represented emotions, the locations were different. Anger was at the bottom of the ocean. It's a dense emotion that we try to smother & it thrives under pressure. The members who represent this emotion are pirates. Joy was a bank. It's an emotion that we store & take out for special things. The members that represent this emotion are in denim, but surrounded by clowns who look like the ones from the Dark Knight. Sorrow was a stark place of floating ash and monuments that were like graves. The members who represent this emotion are in pale & washed out colors mixed with white. Happiness/Pleasure was in a fort of musical instruments. It's an emotion that's loud & messy. We hear it before we see it. The members who represent this emotion look a lot like people from Mad Max mixed with military. Now. Anger attacked Joy first. They bypassed Sorrow altogether. (You can see this in the map they showed.) But it didn't turn out. Anger was defeated & captured. That was the first word to dissipate. The next to fall was Joy. Happiness/Pleasure snuck in disguised as clowns & planted a bomb. (We saw I.N talking on a communicator & one of the clowns also had one. He later takes off the mask as he leaves revealing it's Han, yet you can also see pirate Han still tied on the floor behind him.) The bomb went off. Since the bus was in both Joy & Sorrows' realms (Back half in Joy, front in Sorrow. We can't have one of those emotions without having felt the other.) we see the explosion as the camera pans to Sorrow, and the word for Joy dissipates as well. Sorrow falls & we see that Happiness/Pleasure is all that remains. They have gathered parts of the other emotions & folded them into their own. Happiness/Pleasure is very nuanced. It can contain elements of the other emotions and still be the same. Also. I think Lee Know said (In the video with them reacting to the music video) that the children are them when they were young. And over the years these emotions that they felt at varying times have been "defeated" and all that's left is pleasure in their music. The sequence of emotions & dissipation of said emotions seems to mirror their own journey. When they first started, everything was pretty evenly balanced. They hit a few hard times & anger kinda made an appearance, but then they started enjoying things more....Then Woojin left & sorrow took hold for a while. But they came out of that better balanced, and now are taking pleasure in their work once again. Currently they take pleasure in their work, it's tempered with the other emotions, but the dominating drive they have is happiness & pleasure. The lyrics of the song are about locking away your stress & meeting the world with fun & music. The bus is an interesting thing. As well as being between the the factions of Joy & Sorrow (The back part was fully in Joy's section....But the front was in Sadness. Almost as if it had crashed into it.) , it's actually a call back to their beginning. And it's not the one from District 9, it's the one from Grow Up that was heading to District 9. I do think the District number being 325 is significant. Since that is the debut date, it has now become the beginning district. It WAS district 9 for the 9 of them, but that has changed over the years. And it is no longer just them. They invited ALL of us in in Back Door. At the beginning, it was small & sheltered. They were very careful of their district. But as they grew in confidence, they threw the notice out to everyone who wants to enter...All we have to do is knock. And Felix didn't swear. Felix is saying the Korean word for Shh. I believe it's Swit? So it's a work around on the no swearing rule. Stray Kids love homophones. I mean, look at the title for the album & this song. It means happiness/pleasure in Chinese. But it sounds like the English word "rock". So the album is Rock Star, and it's all about emotions. Every song on this album is designed to touch our emotions in different ways.

Stray Kids started their musical journey with a story they wanted to tell. And their music has evolved with them. I'll leave a list for you if you would like to go through it. I give this list to any baby Stay, or those just learning about SKZ, I come across to help them in their SKZ journey. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it's good for new people to watch it. Helevator was made in 2017 before they even debut, as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(I don't know if other people have told you SKZ were a 9 member group at the beginning. At just under 2 years into their journey one of them, Woojin, left. You will see Woojin in older videos. He was present till Double Knot at the later part of 2019. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left. Stray Kids are 8 members now, and personally that's the way I think it should be.) And yes. You need to watch it in order of the list. (Hellevator) I Am Not trailer District 9 (Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line) Voices Grow Up My pace I Am You Victory Song Performance Video Miroh Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer Side Effects Teaser 1 Side Effects Double Knot (Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.) Cle: Levanter Trailer Levanter Go Live Trailer Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel Gods Menu In Life Trailer Back Door I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. There Is also a separate story line called the Mixtape Universe, or the Film Club Universe. It's it's own self contained thing, and it recently got a added film in the latest comeback. It follows the members in an alternate reality as they are members of a school film club. Mixtape: On Track Unveil track: B Me Mixtape: OH The View And just recently there is now SKZFLIX that kind of follows an alternate path of the Film Club universe, and the Unveil track for Leave also ties in. We are waiting for Leave to get a full film. I want it so bad. (At this point, I don't think it will get it's own MV. And I am sad.) I hope this helps you on your journey of exploration into Stray Kids' music.

"The Thunderous ones are here!" Hey! Thank you for your amazing reaction friend! Stray Kids is an 8 members group gather by the lider of the group Bang Chan (this is the only k-pop group formed this way. Usually the label company decides who gets to be the members of a group). Stray Kids are self-produced. They create 99% of they're music and are also very involved in the choreography creation. The group has debuted in 25/03/18 and the members are: Bang Chan (26Yo The Lider) , Changbin (24) and Han (23). They are also known as the producers and songwriters - 3Racha subunit. Lee Know (25), Hyunjin (23) and Felix (23) also known by the name of- Dance Racha subunit . All of them have solo songs composed by themselves. Seungmin (23) and I.N (23)as the Vocal Racha subunit. They have released solo cover songs. They all are skilled in dancing, they all can rapp or sing and lately all of them are getting intrested in songwriting and producing. Lalalala is the title track of their last came back. If you enjoyed it you should also check out some other really good music that they have such as Megaverse, S Class, Topline, Maniac, Venom, Frezze, God's Menu, Domino, All In, Social Path, Charmer , Get Lit, ITEM, Cheese, Super Bowl (eng version), Super board, Side Effects, Hello Stranger, Peacemaker, Rock, Boxer.... Etc. If you want to hear something less hard striking songs you should go on Fam, TMI, FNF, The Sound, Christmas Evel, Blind Spot, Get cool, Awkward silence, My Pace... Etc If you enjoy more soft ones you can check out Chill, Blue Print, The View, Time out, There, Your Eyes, B Me, Gone Days, I am you.....etc Songs that can crush your heart are the ones of Han and also Lonely St, Leave, Cover me, Winter Falls, Secret Secret, Levanter, Scars, Youtiful, Gone Away, I hate to admit .... Etc And if you want the hot ones i strongly recommend Red Lights, Drive, Taste (Dance performance), Connected, Woaw Mostly rap- 3Racha, Heyday, Muddy Waters (performance) Runner's High, I got it( Han), Mirror Mirror (Milli, F Hero ft Changbin), Grrr Be Awear, Zone.. Etc I also recommend they're pre-debute song Hellevator and they're debut song District 9!!! Believe me my friend... The list could continue forever cuz they're discography is no skipping song at all. Every song that you will listen will blow your mind for sound, lyrics, visuals, choreography, words play.... And also have excellent acting skills! They are amazing and i guarantee for an excellent experience 100% The fandom name is Stay. Also consider turning on the caption. I have subscribed and cannot wait to see which one you choose!! 💥 💙S͓̽t͓̽r͓̽a͓̽y͓̽K͓̽i͓̽d͓̽s͓̽💙 everywhere all around the world!

There is also a rock version of this song too! I would recommend trying God’s Menu, Megaverse, Thunderous,Freeze. For songs with no music video, you might like Item, Hall of Fame, Comflex, and 3Racha. Stray Kids is different than other kpop groups that are more pop sounding. You may also like: Ateez-Bouncy as well as Crazy Form from them. I also recommend Xikers-Red Sun.I call this yell rapping , but I like it 😂They also have amazing choreography, and are from the same company as Ateez Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids, especially as your first Kpop experience!

If you like something that is really theatrical, you might enjoy Kingdom (the group) at least for their music videos if not their songs ! They have a story line based on being kings and Kingdoms and have many historical aspect that is so interesting if you wanna check them out ! But they are way way less known than Stray kids !

if you’re planning on checking out another kpop group, i highly recommend SEVENTEEN. they are truly geniuses, an incredibly talented group, and industry giants for a good reason!! if you like hard hitting songs like this one, you should check out Fear, HIT or Hot from them. if you want to listen to something softer, i’d recommend Falling Flower, _World or Darl+ing. if you want something in between (pretty vocals but still makes you want to dance), check out Rock with you, Ready to love or God of music (their newest comeback). my two favourite tracks with mvs from them are F*ck my life (the lyrics hit hard) and Cheers (rap heavy, a unit song of the groups leaders).
