Welcome to the Dimash rabbit hole. You have only just begun to discover the magic known as Dimash, and this barely even scratches the surface. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZbinr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. This concert was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. It was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve.

For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). What you called calling the spirits was in reality a Kazakh lament called a Joqtaw…He did it to honor the original singer of the song who passed away. He was the lead singer for the band who is playing behind Dimash. That’s why the band members looked so relaxed, it’s their song. For those who like Dimash, two other must see singers are Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu from China. Zhou Shen has a high, feminine voice that often got him bullied in school. If his classmate only could have seen the talent in that voice. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell" and "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". Another singer that is highly rated is Hua Chenyu. One never knows what one will get with a Hua Chenyu song since he mixes genres and composes many of his own songs. He is an epic stage performer spilling his emotions into the audience so they can share in those emotions. He is also a master are redeveloping cover songs into his unique perspective. I have a recommendation list, but it is not really in any particular order. "Nunchucks", "Child", I am what I am", "Fake Monk", "Friend", and "Dad, I'm Home".

@@JustLiz21 Hell if I know. I been stuck for the last 3 years. I listen to Dimash everyday, can’t stop. I was a lifelong Prince fan, then we lost Prince. And one day I was watching some Pentatonix reactions and reading the comments and people kept asking for Dimash reactions. I had no idea who he was and I clicked on the link. It was for Passione and I didn’t care for the song or the arrangement, but his vocal talent was undeniable. So I watched SOS and halfway through the song I was crying. I had never cried during a song in my life. Then I read the lyrics to the song and it made sense that they would affect me, but I don’t understand French. I was amazed that he could convey the meaning of the song to me in such a personal way without me even understanding the words. I started listening for his other songs and watching reactions to SOS and couldn’t stop. And here I am three years later fiending every day like a junkie for my fix of Dimash’s music . . .

The person that stood up at the end of the song is Igor Krutoy. He is a well known composer, and came out of retirement to write for Dimash. He has written several songs for Dimash that you have yet to hear. They are all masterpieces. One of them is Olympico (Ogne Pietra), and it was written specifically for Dimash to sing at the opening ceremonies of the 2019 2nd Annual European Games in Minsk. If you choose to listen to that song, which you should miss no song from Dimash, please watch the video from the World Skills in Kazan 2019. The video from the European games is not at all the best video to watch. It has nothing to do with his singing, it has everything to do with what you are watching while you listen to him, and it is mostly not him. LOL Keep going ladies, there is much more to see. You will not be disappointed, and his new stuff is even more jaw dropping, and surprising.

Very good singer with great technique, for sure. What I'd like to know is if he comes from a rich family or has signed with a big record company? We are watching a computer screen, and you are watching some red wine spilled on the carpet. Who did it? Or was it the dog? .. We don't know. I suggest you get a computer screen for two reasons. A) Looking at Dimash at the size of a coin is challenging and discomforting to us, watching this. B) Even more important is, that we can be included if we can see your face, your eyes, and not seeing you, as you were ashamed, for doing this thing on the carpet. 3) Audio. It can destroy all your efforts, if you get it wrong. The sound quality of the video is good. The sound quality of the background music is good, but way too loud !! Especially, because your mics are lousy. They pick up colorless, weak and like 2D sound, compare to 3D of the musics. * I hope, I was helpful. .... I suggest, you might check out a couple of reactors with over 500 000 subscribers, and check for placements and sound qualities. I wrote all this, for I saw all the work you put into your channel already. * How did I like your reaction? I don't know, for these issues were occupying my mind.

I love your honest feedback. We will strive to do better next time. We love this kind of constructive criticism. And yeah, we have had the issues with the volume, quality of the sounds and all that for a while (but trust me this is better now 🤣) we have yet to invest on a mic and a laptop. We are using our iPad and smartphone as of the moment. In time, we will be able to afford those equipment to better your (subscribers) viewing experience. @@JustLiz21 I see, you are working hard, as those who succeeded. They struggled a lot with these issues, but once they found the harmony, they stick to it. I went back to the Dimash & Rimar video. It is perfect. It should be your Trademark. Nobody has it. You 2 are 1, to the screen 1.6. The video is 1, to a person 1.6. Once it is on full screen, you might shrink a bit, but it is editing issue. The audio was perfect, I wish you can get it back. ONE thing you can do, and you might don't need any investment, place the iPad close up to the camera, so you don't have to look down. People striving for inclusiveness. It goes as far, that reactors calls them "family" and "loving people", and different group names, I hope you will avoid. One more. Don't worry about comments on your style. The natural one, in the D&M video, was just perfect. I think this got me subscribed. Beau ladies with style, and being loose, cool, playful, a bit chick, while still emotional. I find it honest. Wish you good luck!

Dude. Everyone has their own way of doing things. And they do it in the way that seems ok to them. You need not command them and make them change it. It can rather be an advice, and they might think about it. 😊But anyway, it’s still ok to let them know your opinion in some way.
