Yangyang had such a baby face in this era! Also yeah, you can see the growth in phantom, especially because they were on hiatus for so long.

"Regular" is an original song by NCT 127, which came out in English and Korean at the same time with a focus on promoting the group globally (if I remember correctly, the MV is the English version) that's why it might sound so "American" to you. A few months later SM announced WayV's debut with the Chinese version of the same song that has some slight differences from the original, but it's basically the same song. Also the choreography maintains some steps from the original but is very different in some parts. WayV's debut digital single, called "The Vision", apart from containing the title song "Regular" and the b-side "Dream Launch", contains a third song called "Come Back" which is the Chinese version of an original Japanese song from NCT 127 too. This one doesn't have an MV, but there is a dance practice if you want to watch it.

you should check out their “come back” dance practice since dream launch doesn’t have one. It’s also a bside and they filmed the dance practice the same time they did the regular dance practice I’m pretty sure since they both came out in their first digital ep ☺️

dream launch storyline：They dreamed that they had gone to outer space（dream：The TV talked about" wormholes, "and during the process of making wormhole models, the chandeliers fell off, so they climbed up into outer space）, and when they woke up, they found that they were really already in outer space（At the end of the mv, they saw the earth outside the window, proving that they had already reached outer space）. In the concept of NCT, "dream" is the medium of "connection", through which three teams are connected. This is a very interesting concept. If you carefully observe NCT's mv and lyrics, they often mention dreams.

I'm glad that you reacted to the SUPERIOR version of Regular (my opinion hahha love 127 too tho). Dream launch MV is really interesting, linking them to the NCT concept in general...and Take Off is one of my favs because of the lyrics and the interesting sounds and the dance break!. 2019 was wayv golden era... WayV 💚 is always improving and we already know it. This year is a new start for WayV 🥹💚
