I watched that show religiously. There was so much talent and such a variety of styles. Some of those dances were pure works of storytelling. I like that K&P chose Sonya as their fellow judge. She was one of my favorite choreographers.

That was actually Maribeth Monroe. We did a bald cap and tattoos on her to make her look Sonya Tayeh. Maribeth is an awesome sketch comedy actress.

Britt… If I was a judge on one of these shows, I would be like the “old school” version of Simon Cowell, pre-fatherhood when he would give the least deserving contestant/s the ultimate reality check. If (& when) they sucked, he’d tell them in no uncertain terms & not give a flying f**k about hurting their feelings 😈😈😈
