Correct. There's quite an irony in the lyrics as he sings "look at me standing, here on my own again" "its a wonderful, wonderful life" when these lines are actually sarcasm. Whilst writing the song he was going through a tough time as a musician, he was broke, failing marriage etc, hence the sarcastic lyrics. Great reaction to the song 👍. I was immensely saddened by news of his death. The song and the video are truly sumptuous and I think can help to heal the soul. His voice and presence are amazing. It's a special song, no question. Funny thing: one time I saw a comment under the video for this song on YT and the person had typed or pasted the lyrics, but they included the phrase "Here I go, out to see again" instead of "out to sea again". Made me laugh. I drew attention to the boo-boo, LOL. Honestly, on the web quite a few people have posted this incorrect phrase as the first line of the song. I don't get it because it makes no sense at all. ((scratches head)) "Out to sea" is a real thing, meaning a vessel is heading away from land--- and is possibly a metaphor for a person mentally moving away from things to take a more objective look at one's life or life in general. I enjoy how the song starts out synthy and then a moment later there's this almost tropical vibe to the music in the bass and percussion.
