Ali sethi (The male singer in this song) got inspired from the word “Pasoori” which is a punjabi word meaning Trouble or getting in a difficulty So he and the producer of this season of Coke studio (Xulfi) wrote all the lyrics of this song It was a major hit both in Pakistan and India.Topped all the charts for several months after it released Please also react to “Faasle” from coke studio season 10 I can assure you that you will absolutely love the lyrics and the melody of voices in that song ❤️

By the way, when he says 'let the crow tell me why', is, in my opinion is slightly off the actual transaltion, which should be 'may the crow give me the good news' (that my love is coming) anyway, in this verse, he's actually alluding to an old supersition from our villages that if you saw a crow crowing, sitting atop your boundary wall or rooftop, it meant a guest was coming. Crows in several European cultures are omens of bad tidings or even death. In indigenous American cultures, they often represent change. In a lot of Eastern (Asian) cultures, they represent wisdom. Thus, the fact that the crow didn't come to tell the singer what was going on.
