I actually discovered Fauozia for myself during the COVID lockdown. Kelly Clarkson did that multi language and artist video, “I Dare You to Love”, and when Faouzia came up I said “who the heck is that?” Started checking out her music and have been hooked ever since. ❤

Glad you liked this one! From the "Stripped" series this is probably the most popular, but my favorite is "How It All Works Out (Stripped)". Bad Dreams is probably 2nd and this one is tied for 3rd with "You Don't Even Know Me (Stripped)". I think after a few more "Stripped" songs you should check out some of her different stuff. You have at least 38 more videos to do to check out most of the best stuff!

You are right, this style of singing is not to everyone’s taste. She says she loves writing sad songs. And there is always some drama. For lighter fare from Faouzia, try “This Road”, “Exothermic”, “Hero” and “SoLie”. “I Fly” is one she didn’t write, just sang, but the stripped version is very happy. She and co-writer Matt Epp won the International Songwriting Competition over 16,000 entries when she was 16. “The Sound” is worth checking out as you are now a fan. Or ‘fawn’ as they call themselves. Keep having fun.
