The people Geoff shouts out are his top tier Patreons. He's got too many for them to show up in the credits, just like VP. Huldra Draco is one of the top tier and I've dubbed her head archivist of VoicePlay and Geoff. She has got her own channel with lots of background history of VoicePlay and it's members and regular updates. It's a goldmine for getting to know facts about the various members. Arranged, Produced, Performed, Directed and Edited by Geoff Castellucci Concept and Creative Direction - Geoff and Kathy Castellucci. The patrons he mentions at the end are in his very top $$$ creation tier. He doesn't have a crew. Usually just Geoff and Kathy. I like that he pats his thigh and Zero glides in. Rick Underwood does the makeup and is a friend from his Universal days. They usually come in the day before to put the set together.

I've already listened to Valhalla Calling, prior to making reaction videos, unfortunately- However, I'm hoping to bring in a friend who knows nothing about Voiceplay, and have them react to the music video with me! It's one of my favorite songs of all time :)

Geoff solos - Way Down. Ghost Riders in the Sky. Sound of Silence. Shenandoah. Country Road. Monster Mash. Anything he does is awesome. FYI - all the singing is him, layered. Whenever there are 4-5 singers in the video, they are all him. He is his own group. The credits are a wealth of information.

So most all the decorations for that set came from Geoff and Kathy's home collection. They love Halloween! 👻 Rick Underwood does the make-up for both Geoff and VoicePlay. He is a master! Kathy (Geoffs wife) is the production manager for both as well. Sometimes, they'll need a little help from Layne (VP beatboxer) or Eli, but Geoff does most of his solo stuff himself. They switch in VP, usually between Layne and Geoff for the arrangement, mixing and video shooting/editing. Eli (VP high tenor) often does the lighting. I love Nightmare Before Christmas and this shot straight to the top of my Halloween playlist. It's just so good! It really was the perfect song for him. ❤

Geoff and his wife Kathy do most of the work. He has a makeup artist and a camera operator, and that's about it. Layne and Tony at Pattycake (where this is filmed) help out if needed with setup, which is part of their job as the owners of Pattycake. Sometimes Eli will help with lighting if it requires programming of the automation, which is his specialty.

You put up a video on some little bits of info on this production. You stated in that video that it was filmed in Geoff & Kathy's home. Now you're saying it was filmed at Patty Cake. Which one is it ?

Awesome reaction Fluffy. This is an absolutely beautiful song and video. His video... I See Fire... from Hobbit 2 Desolation of Smaug also shows his range. In ... Far Over The Misty Mountains Cold... from Hobbit 1 Unexpected Journey he dressed up as 4 dwarves from the movie. He brought them back this year in I See Fire. We are all hoping he does... Last Goodbye.. from Hobbit 3 sometime soon. The beautiful lady that is handling Zero, Jack's dog is his wife Kathy. She is Production Manager for him and Voiceplay. Not counting his studio time recording the song... it took 4 days to set up, film and break down. He and Voiceplay do everything themselves... concept to KZbin and beyond. He and Voiceplay are both independent. No record labels to tell them what to do so they make all their own decisions. Except intricate make-up, cameras and audio mixing. The guy that does the makeup for him and Voiceplay is Rick Underwood. He worked as a makeup artist at Disney World for 30 years before going on his own. Most of the videos that Geoff and Voiceplay film are at Pattycake Productions. Owned by Layne and former member Tony Wakim since 2016. Tony left Voiceplay to go behind the scenes. He co writes, edits, etc with Layne for their amazing videos. He also makes all the costumes for the videos. If you want to see them live I recommend 3 of my favorites.... Road Trip (blue lighting), Chicken Song and Elvira.

@@FluffyPlaysGamez Exactly. You don't have big wigs telling you what to do, how to do it, make your decisions and block videos that you worked so hard to make. That's why Voiceplay refuses to go with a record label and stay independent. They said they work too hard on their videos for everyone to enjoy them. So they don't block. Unless they feel they absolutely have to for some drastic reason. Which is very very rare. And they love reactors because you all help get their videos out there.

@@ronsbrat525 Great background info! I'd like to second your suggestion of reacting to 'I See Fire', the Ed Sheeran song from the 2nd Hobbit film. It's instantly recognizable as a song Ed had great success with at the time. And the treatment that Geoff and his 'brothers' give it, takes it to another level.

In Far Over The Misty Mountains.... Thorin... Bofur.... Filli.... Killi. I See Fire is an excellent song and video that shows off his beautiful range. From low bass to high tenor.

Geoff plays the piano in a number of his videos and in others he uses a keyboard with plugins and samples to create various instrumental sounds. The paeople getting a spoken mention are the highest level patrons.

I have really enjoyed your enthusiastic reactions to Geoff and Voice Play and am a new subscriber to your channel. Geoff and Voice Play have a lot of great covers for Halloween: "In The Hall Of The Mountain King", "This Is Halloween", "Ding Dong/Hide And Seek", "Superstition", and "Once Upon A Dream" are my favorites for Halloween Voice Play covers. For Geoff solo, my other Halloween favorites (beside this one of course) are "Headless Horseman", "Ghost Riders In The Sky" and Monster Mash". As other patreons have already told you in the comments here, Voice Play has no label or record contract by choice so that they can do everything themselves and have complete control of their creative expression. Their support comes from their patreons and I think you would enjoy becoming one of their patreons as they really treat their patreons like family.

That's Kathy, his wife, who is production manager for both Geoff and VoicePlay. She is the daughter of Geoff's high school choir director. Rick Underwood is one of the best makeup artists in Orlando. Nearly all members of VoicePlay have worked at Disney or Universal in Orlando. They all know the power of costuming, makeup, set design, and more. It is one of the things that makes VoicePlay what it is. Kathy was a singer too but shortly after marrying Geoff, she lost nearly all of her hearing. They have done a video about that. Most people think it would be really sad or disturbing but the two of them are a delight. She had a cameo in Geoff's Till Then (a WW2 song told by a soldier going off to war, hoping his girl will wait - Till Then) and in Golden Hour - she was the toymaker, Anthony Gargiula (Gar jewl' ah). He's also in their Seven Nation Army (White Stripes) and Creep (RadioHead).

@@FluffyPlaysGamezNot only did they come from the same area, but Layne (beatboxer) and Geoff, along with Earl (their prior hi tenor who left in 2020), all attended middle school together. They release their first album under a different group name in 1997 when they got out of high school. In addition, Eli who is the bald rock tenor god, attended the nearby high school and they actually competed against each other in high school at singing competitions.

When he does a song alone he does some from his own home , the headless horseman was done I believe at either his own home or his parents , and in this one when you see his wife it looks like a kitchen I do love how all the Halloween stuff really is from his home 😀 I almost missed it but if you watch the part where zero comes out , he pats his leg like Jack does to call zero from his grave , it shows just how much he puts into his videos to add that little detail ❤

@@FluffyPlaysGamez when his eyes glow it’s really little pumpkins , I hadn’t noticed the first time since I watched it on my phone but when I watched on my tv I noticed , now that’s adding details 😆 , I loved how he had the flames in his hellfire , but I wouldn’t of thought to have glowing eyes like pumpkins Have you listened to hide and seek from voiceplay ? It’s one of my favorite since they all dress up as characters from the haunted mansion 😀

After I watched your reaction to "Hellfire" last night, I was hoping, that you pick up also Geoff's new masterpiece. I appreciate your insights really a lot 👌If you don't want to stick to the Helloween theme, I would recommend something from Germany to you (the vocals are in English) kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6aliZh8asaWp6csi=uW If you want to do more Helloween and Geoff, his "Monster Mash" or "The Oogie Boogie's song" from Voiceplay out of the same Story like "Jack's Lament" are absolutely precious pieces. I personally really love his cover of Blackbird, but I think his cover of I See Fire from Desolation of Smaug is a really good indicator of how well he can sing in that high baritone/tenor range.
