I am so pleased you have reacted to this, Dereck. I was 6 years old when this was released, and it is very nostalgic for me. I LOVED this movie, this song and the whole soundtrack when i was growing up. I still love it dearly. Giorgio Moroder is one of my favourite keyboardists of all-time. The album he did with Philip Oakey of The Human League is an absolute classic.

There is a 12" version and it's on KZbin. Irene Cara was also in FAME and sang the theme song for that movie, "Fame". which is also a big hit classic, and Hot Lunch Jam and Out Here on My Own. . She had a couple of solo songs, also produced by Giorgio Moroder. Breakdance was a single, and a ballad, "Anyone Can See. She has a large film and tv resume, plays and musicals, and she is on 17 Soundtrack albums.

FOR CHILLS AND THRILLS. Hello Dereck. I like your reactions. I've been trying to get SOMEONE to react to a song called "I Sing The Body Electric" (finale song of the original movie Fame (1980)). It features Irene Cara along with other stars from the movie, as well as background orchestra, chorus and dancers who were seniors at the High School For Performing Arts the year it was filmed. It is absolutely mind-bogglingly good. There is a harmony section in there that still blows my mind after hearing it - I don't know how many times - over the years. Based on your reactions to a few things I've seen this week, I think you will absolutely love it. I'm putting this out to a few reactors who I also think will love it and hoping someone will check it out. Anyway, keep up the good work. Here's the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qniQqJ9optZ3bbs
