Loona is a 12 member girl group with a very unique concept both predebut & post debut and is under Blockberry Creative. Their pre debut concept is giving each of the 12 members a solo debut every month as well as forming them into 3 sub units hence why their korean name is (Girl of the Month). The concept of individually giving members a debut follow a story called "Loonaverse" wherein all their solo, unit, collective mvs are connected by lore thus forming the Loonaverse and are kind of like episodes in a series. Their pre debut project took 18 months to finish and they finally debuted as a full group back in Aug. of 2018 and it's currently the most expensive debut project in kpop. Loona has a diverse discography, after the pre debut process loona had a total of 60+ songs under many different genres and 30+ mvs with different concepts. Even the current 3 title tracks differ genres and concepts with each other. You werent completely wrong when you said loona was a cute concept group but that's only 1 of the many things loona can do. In terms of dancing and choreography, loona is one of the best 4th gen groups. Sm ent. founder Lee Soo Man collaborating with them for their 'So What' album including the new album attests to them being skilled in dancing after their dance cover of 'Cherry Bomb' making them the first girl group outside of SM that he has worked with. Oh and youve probably noticed their high quality mvs which are produced by Digipedi and most of their mvs are filmed in foreign countries. So What was filmed in Thailand.

The girl you (VERY correctly) said is cute is Chuu (also the inventer of the heart bite thingy), and she is SERIOUSLY the cutest goofball in the history of humanity, and that even is an HUGE understatement Just watch something like 'Chuu moments I think about alot' and you'll fall in love with her immediately, no lies

Thank u for reacting to them, actually, loona is diff from any other group.. they're 12 members of them, all of them have their own solo song n subunit (3 subunit).. before they officially debut, they kind of have a solo n subunit debut first, and then they debut with hi high.. Loona doesnt have a fixed sound, they cover all type of genre, if u have time, u should explore into their group more.. it is really worth it.. their bsides also no joke! All of their songs are so good, n u will be mindblown with how much song that they have been released till today.. Also, they having a cb on oct 19.. that's also a new sound, please support them if u can :) Their video also really properly produced, all their video link to each other, like a story called 'loonaverse'.. every object, outfit, from lyric, choreo, everything link to each other :) Watch THE AVENGERS OF KPOP: A STORY OF LOONA BY THE ASIAN THEORY.. that video summarize all of loona activity, n good for a newbie :) but, beware of spoiler, in that video too much of loona songs.. if u didnt like spoiler dont wtch tht till u learn about them..

Please please please watch a live stage for So What or maybe a choreography version! Their next comeback is near so it would be nice to see their live stages for So What be appreciated before the next comeback. The choreography is bonkers. One member said that performing it once was like performing their Butterfly choreo four times. Their Butterfly choreo was already said to be one of the most difficult of 2019 so... imagine how bonkers the So What choreo is. And they do it while singing live in many stages!
