Isn't this great! VoicePlay just announced on their socials yesterday that they are being considered for 2025 Grammy nominations in two categories for this cover. This is Geoff's arrangement.

I’m surprised to hear that you’ve hear such negative things about Eli. It’s a little silly to compare the members of Voiceplay to each other, since they all have such different voices, do different things and are all extremely skilled at what they do. That being said, I would be tempted to say that Eli has the most vocal control, range, and flexibility.

Personal life aside, Michael Jackson was/is the "King of Pop" for a reason! Also, I've seen the reactor you were talking about in the beginning. He decided right away that he hated Eli and he was pretty hard on him for the first couple songs. He let up after a couple more that he liked better, but he just doesn't like VoicePlay. I don't really get it, but to each their own. I love what they did with this cover. It evokes the essence of the original but sounds totally different too. It was smooth and sounded great to me! Glad you enjoyed it so much too! ❤

I haven't seen that one. If I come across it I will have something to say. :).

I don’t know why this is just now coming up on my feed but you might check out their recent cover of Total Eclipse of the Heart with featured artist Ashley Diane. Ashley and Cesar are both originally from Puerto Rico and part of the song is sung in Spanish as it was apparently very popular there as a duet. It’s interesting to hear how different his voice sounds when he’s singing in Spanish. I really enjoy your reaction and commentary. I’m not of the right age to be a huge king of pop fan. Although I recognize that he was a genius it’s just not the music I ended up listening to all the time.. I really like the arrangement in that it’s paying tribute to the original but they’ve changed it enough so that it has a slightly different sound. To me that is the hallmark of a good cover. I want to thank you for putting in captions. I’m going to listen to a few more times and see if I can pick out more than two or three words in Spanish😂 but I really appreciate that you bother putting the captions on. I do watch reactions for people who don’t do that but I get a lot more out of it when you take that extra effort so thank you.

I would like to suggest that you react to the Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique, he does several covers on his channel, despite being a gospel singer. He is well known by reactors around the world for his wonderful voice. Last year he was invited to participate in the American got Talent program "AGT" in the USA. You need to react to Gabriel Henrique with Coral Black To Black, singing I Want To Know What Love Is by Mariah Carey, posted on May 22nd, on his official KZbin channel. #Gabrielhenrique #onesweetday #mariahcarey

@@zntcrs a mí la música me gusta más en directo. Cantar así una canción tan poderosa, y como la interpreta MJ, para mí, es no tener respeto. Es más! Cualquier forma de intentar superar la original, es una falta de respeto.
