For your question around 21:10, the context you’re missing is that the people asking for directions are a part of one of the antagonist groups in the story of genshin, hence why the character responds with "Two big strong Fatui asking me to be their chaperone, is this some kind of joke?" Basically with the context clues that these guys are from a group of bad people, they're waving guns around while asking, and are asking in a very rude and forceful manor, its implied that their intentions are not actually to ask for directions

Wanderer is a character who Hoyoverse has put a lot of effort and love; he has one of the biggest narratives and lore in game and is a very complex character. You might be seen he is a little sadistic in comparison with other characters; also all the traits you remark of his demo felt like a horror movie has a meaning but explain it breaks a little of the experience with this character. Also he was one of the most anticipated characters because he has appeared in the game since version 1.1; so the community got really attached to him and have to wait 2 years until he was released as a playable character. Trivia facts: he shares a strong connection with one of the most beloved characters in the game and also he has a massive easter eggs and references with one of the most popular songs in the world, specifically from Queen.

@@GOTGames Yes, some are NPC’s but there’s other type of characters who’s have a more detailed designs and is implied they’re important in the plot. Wanderer has first appeared in a limited Event but he gave us important information for the plot and also he make the community so hyped on his next appear; later in the game he makes his debut in the main story. But it took time to get him as playable character because he needed first all his development as character, really Wanderer is one of the most interesting characters in this game.

Actually Nilou and Nahida's trailers did show off their combat. Nilou's combat style incorporates dancing because she's a dancer. Nahida does actually just hopscotch all over her enemies. You can play as 4 characters at a time and in battle you can switch freely and dynamically between everyone in your party. You can currently get 8 specific characters for free (including the traveler a.k.a. you), but they do give out some characters for doing events every other patch (so once every 3 months). The way you can get the rest of the characters is by using a special currency ingame that you can get by playing the game or by paying real money. Over all you can get quite a good amount of characters, but if you want everyone you will definitely have to spend money. Yes, there are boats in the game that you can use to traverse water.

I think my most favorite video is of Nahida's character demonstration. She's cute, and there's also a little mystery in the video. The developers tried to pick up beautiful music for the characters, it's really cool. The game has locations that resemble in style, landscapes of some real countries and regions.

Each country in Genshin is based on some region of our world. These characters are from Sumeru, which is roughly Middle East and south east Asia. It’s divided into a rainforest and a desert. The rainforest is mainly Southeast Asia, while the desert is more Middle East/Egypt, but they do overlap sometimes. The rainforest is where the main city and the port city are, and it’s home to the Akademiya, which, as it’s name suggest, is basically a massive university. Their god is the god of Wisdom and it’s element is dendro (basically plant energy). Anything else would require far more in depth lore.

There's a dish called Tajine which is dehya's specialty and Shakshouka ( it was mentioned weekly meals in Dar Al shifaa that they ate shakshouka) these are Dishes from Algeria and Morocco which are north African. So i won't say middle east but Arabs in General

You are correct. Usually when new characters are released, it correlates to a new zone opening up. When you got to the demos where things started being very Japanese styled, that was when Inazuma (the Japan-like zone) was opening up. When you got to the ones focusing on the Forest (Collei, Tighnari and Nahida) was when they opened up Sumeru (a part forest, part desert nation based on India/Persia/Egypt). When you got to Candace and Cyno was when they released the desert part of Sumeru.

To reply to who you can use, you get the Traveler (the player character), Amber, Lisa, Kaeya, Barbara, Xiangling, and Collei for free from playing the game. You will also get Noelle from the free Gacha spin you get early in the game. The rest of the character you have to use the Gacha system for. Doing that requires money, though you will collect the items needed to spin as you play, just not enough to get every character.

Nilou and Nahida’s demos (the ones you thought didn’t include combat) both had combat. It’s just Nilou’s combat looks like a dance (a sword dance) and Nahida’s is her just skipping around and her dendro powers just come out in cute flowers and hearts. They just have very unique combat styles.

For a little bit of Context on what Genshin looks like In-Game: - All Trailers show every move the shown Character can use in-Game - Some Trailer have additional Cutszenes that cannot be seen in-Game (Zhongli, Raiden, Nahisa, Wanderer & more) - A few Trailer are fully made with the in-Game Engine (but with free camera control & added panels, like for kaeya, yaoyao and then some) - The Demo Soundtrack is unfortunately not in-Game aside from VERY SPECIFIC Cutscenes, but it contains mostly some easter eggs towards actual in-Game Soundtracks - Every Demo Soundtrack is a shortened Version, so every song has a Full Version - You are the blonde Guy (or Girl) who already appeared in some Trailers, and is named The Traveler Some other Things I want to answer: - Genshin is not a finished game, but it started with the Area of Mondstadt for Anemo and the Area of Liyue for Geo. - This Game gains new content over time. Dragonspine (the Ice Mountain) was an Extension to Mondstadt and added together with Albedo, Inazuma got added together with Kamisato Ayaka, and the Area of Sumeru got added together with Collei and Tighnari - Since the Beginning, there were 6 Elements in this Game (Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, Hydro and Geo). And with the Addition of Sumeru, a new Element was implemented into the game, called Dendro (the green one resembling Plants) - Different Main Areas contain differen Types of Enemies, so the Samurai belong to Inazuma, and the walking Mushrooms as well as the Egyptian Enemies belong to Sumeru (Which is split into a Jungle Area and a Desert Area) - You can play as any Character who have their own Demo, though there are some Characters who dont have any Demo. But since Genshin is a Gacha Game, to obtain them, you have to be lucky when pulling for those Characters available at the time. - Some Characters can only be pulled in limited Time Banners which appear once in a while. My favorite character demos are Nahida and Alhaitham. I really like how they made Nahida's demo so cheerful but at the same time give a little glimpse at her backstory. And Alhaithams trailer is so refreshing because it not only focuses on him but also includes Cyno, Tighnari and Kaveh. I think it's ironic that they chose his trailer to feature so many characters considering that Alhaitham mostly prefers to spent time alone

"Genshin is a Playable Anime" by Max0r will make for a fun reaction and it will answer a lot of the questions you have about the game, but it's also very much so a MASSIVE info overload, in a fun and chaotic way. It's kind of like a trailer/review of the game, but definitely don't take it too seriously if you end up watching it, it definitely overexaggerates a lot of things lol The character teaser videos are also very good, since they show a lot more of the backstories and personalities of the characters, whereas these demos showcase their abilities and gameplay more

To answer some of your questions, most of what you see in these trailers are present in the game, like the characters movesets and the environment. The OSTs you hear are the full ones yes, the official albums are called The Stellar Moments and currently we're at vol 3 ending just before Wanderer's theme (I was pissed, they're still keeping that track from me😭😭). Throughout other trailers, limited events and the story in-game HOYO-MIX remixes the character themes too and make mash-ups, so occasionally we get different versions. Take Fischl's theme in her demo and Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasia for example. Or Xinyan's theme being mixed with a domain theme and making Burst into Flames (another banger soundtrack btw). And in terms of characters being available, the game does give you free 4star characters as soon as you start, and then some more 4star characters from events or trying out game modes like Abyss, while 5star characters are only obtainable through luck, tenacity, or special collabs like with Aloy. Basically you can save up free currency from quests and events or buy said currency to get the character as soon as possible (getting one 5star can cost up to 200$). But you don't need high-rarity characters to play the game tbh. Also yes each character has a passive talent that helps traverse the open world, like having Baizhu in your party heals you when you pick up flowers, some characters reduce the amount of stamina you spend sprinting or climbing, and some characters give you materials back when crafting even if they're not in your current party. I think Mika is one of those characters that actually shows you where to find things on the mini-map if you have him in the party? I have him, but I don't use him so I don't remember.

@16:00 - Demos definitely contain combat. It always shows their Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. It's just done so well that it transitions flawlessly into the other parts of the demo. My favorite Character demo is Wanderer. Genshin impact is a game where there are several different regions in the game. The world evolves with new updates. There are currently 4 regions. The demo shows the gameplay and understand more about the character's character and history.

A few things! The reason Nilou and Nahida look like they were just dancing is because both of their attacks are animated to make it seem like they are dancing. When Nilou twirls she's slashing a sword, and when Nahida jumps those light flashes actually do damage. Another thing, in Wanderer's demo, those Fatui are generally known as a bad organization in game, so them saying "I'm going to need you to show us the way" is basically a threat. And Wanderer is... very easy to anger. 100% Thpugh you should check out the Story Teasers and Trailers next!! The give you a real feel for the atmosphere and a bit of lore about the game. As the name implies, it's a way to show players what they're in for as the story progresses, since while this game may be planned years in advance its being developed gradually.

Every character has a talent that helps out of combat. For example, Mika, the land surveyor, will show you the location of certain items unique to his home country on your mini-map if you have him in your party. Some characters are better at crafting, or use less stamina with various movement methods (climbing, swimming, etc,) and some get bonuses when you send them on dispatch missions. There's a lot of variety. You can also use their moves in non-combat situations, like for solving puzzles, healing, and exploring.

how to get characters: in genshin impact there are 4-star characters and 5-star characters. the game will give you 3 free 4-star characters (Amber, Kaeya, & Lisa) + your character (the traveler). it is also possible to get a few others given to you. but all the other characters you need to get by "Wishing" every 3 weeks there is a new "banner" with a 5-star character on it (and some 4-stars) you have this 3 week period to try to wish for this character before the banner changes, then you will not be able to get that character until it appears on the banner again. by Wishing you spend "Primogems", an in-game currency you can get by doing quests, opening chests etc. (or you can buy them with real money). with your promogems you can wish on the banner and hope you get a character (it is basically gambling). you also get weapons from wishing every 10 wish you get a guaranteed 4-star character (or a weapon) getting a 5-star is only a 0.06% chance, but there is a pity system that makes the chance higher the more you wish. and with this pity you are guaranteed a 5-star after about 90 wishes. (might be less)

At the expense of the characters in the game. At the beginning of the game you will get some basic characters for free. But you can get the rest only from banners that have a limited time and a limited number of characters. You save up premium currency for completing tasks, assignments, and exploring the world. You buy prayers for this currency and spend them on banners with characters. If you play on the stream, I think people will help you to understand more about the gacha system

33:35 Each character has a elemental affinity that allows them to interact with the wold in various ways, and several of them have unique skills that aid the party in specific tasks. Fire characters are required for any puzzle that requires starting fires, and Ice characters can freeze various things, such as lake surfaces, and their abilities create combo effects in battle when you switch back and forth. Many characters also have passive abilities that effect the entire party, even when they are not your active character. Picking four characters that form a versatile team, which supports each member, other is the key to success.

Fave demos? Musically-Hu Tao, Raiden, Eula, Dori, Collei, Dehya, Candace Cinematics-Zhonglu, Raiden, Kokomi, Wanderer Overall-Wanderer, Raiden, Zhongli, As for playing all the characters, you'll start with the main character, and you'll get 4 for free to fill a team. Five stars and certain four stars are only available thru gacha (minus Aloy, but she's unavailable now for new players). Some limited events can get you access to characters. For example earing enough points in Lantern Rite, Genshin's biggest event, typically lets you pick one of several Liyue-based four stars to add to the roster. The .ost recent one had Yayao on the list, and she was also on the gacha banner running too. So even if you couldnt pull her you could still fet her from the event.

So the thing about genshin is since it's open world and we know there are 7 Nations. Hoyoverse is slowly releasing them. So when you asked if they released a desert area. You are correct, and even though I've been playing for a year, usually when they release an area, they make characters from that area or nation. So it was Mondstadt (Germany), Liyue (China), Inazuma (Japan), and now Sumeru (Middle East). We are getting Fontaine (France) later this year, though.

You asked a lot of good questions. 1. There are several free characters that you can obtain but to get most characters you have to "roll" on them. This is a Gacha game and involves gambling. Also, only certain characters are available at certain times, so if you like a particular character you will need to wait for them to come back into rotation. 2. This game is beautiful and the parent company (Mihoyo) is known for making amazing cinematics in their other games as well (Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai Star Rail). 3. There is currently an anime in development for Genshin Impact. We know very little about it outside of the fact that it is being created by UFOtable (animators of Demon Slayer). 4. If you are looking for more videos to react to, there are plenty but here are a few to consider: Character Teasers, Shouki No Kami boss fight music, or maybe the HoyoFair videos. It's scifi themed and has a small series of seven character trailers too. they also did a small concert with music from the game. it lasts 28 minutes and is called the Departure Festival. Well for a bit more context Hoyoverse blends in real life lore into their games, Genshin is as far as i experienced the most heaviest, The Mondstadt region is highly modeled after Central Europe Middle Age (Mondstadt is German for Moon City), Liyue is heavily China inspired (the Companies Home Country), Inazuma is Feudal Japan inspired and now Sumeru is after the Sumerian empire which spanned from Egypt to India so char designs, music everything takes that tone. Sumeru is also the Land of Wisdom cause back then the Middle East did have lots of Scholars. Al-Haitham is a nod to a real life Dude who is considered the Father of Optics, thats why the glass shards and reflections and everything. After this the Teasers show you a different more intimate side i'd say to the Characters, the Miscellanious Videos show you a Breakdown of their abilites and some hints to use em (so i'd recommend to watch those when you got a Character unlocked that has one) and well they released a new game Starrail and the first animated Trailer "A Flash" is a Banger and a half ;)

You can ask for directions in this world, but those two asking were enemies. They were more demanding than asking, and also Wanderer has like no patience. He hits hard when he’s angry - as you saw. So, don’t mess with him. But he’s cool to play! I love flying with him. And the attacks are great. And yes, a lot of this in stuff directly in the game! Alhaitham and Wanderer are both very strong characters. Yes, you will have to either save a lot of gems earned in the game or pay to get certain characters. If you pay, the Welkin Moon deal is a good thing to do. Also, I love Baizhu. He’s a healer.

To answer your question on how you get characters: Genshin is a Gacha game. There are 2 character classes, 4 stars and 5 stars, think "rare" for 4 stars and "legendary" for 5 stars. You get 3 free 4 star characters at the beginning of the game, and 3 other free 4* by meeting certain criteria (leveling up, clearing certain quest) but to get more characters, you have to "pull" for them on their "banners" by using in game currency. A 5 star character banner lasts 2.5 weeks, rotating through the roster. You can only get a 5 star character during their respective banner. For example, the current banners in game as of writing this is Baizhu (the most recent character) and Ganyu (she isn't a new character, so we call her banner a "rerun") It's a bit complicated at first but I swear its a lot simpler than it sounds. There is a lot more to elaborate on about the Gacha system, including some terms that you might hear frequently (pity system, 50/50) but that's something that's a bit harder to explain (to me, at least) but as you get into the game you are sure to understand these concepts more. Btw, about Nahida, she's the God of Wisdom and Dreams who got inprisoned by her own people, hence the dark part at the end since she had to wake up from her dream. I have stopped playing the game myself for other games but its still a great game, then again all Hoyoverse games are great, especially the recently released Star Rail.

The game has a wishing system, you can grind for wishes in game or pay to get them. 4 star characters are every 10 wish but there are also 4 star weapons. 5 stars are guaranteed every 90 wishes but it gets easier after 70, you either get one of the standard characters or the character on the banner (currently Baizhu and Ganyu) and if you get a standard character the next 5 star is guaranteed the banner character.

You could react to the Story Preview, that gives a short... well, preview of all the big Story chapters (which are defined by the seven Nations) that are to come. It was made when the game freshly released and by now, four (soon enough, five) of those previewed chapters have been released. And, of course, it also has a somewhat amazing OST! And if you want more that's not from Genshin, but the same dev and fictional (only somewhat related) universe, you could check out Honkai Impact Third cutscenes. A much more arcade-y game, but also with IMMENSELY BANGER soundtracks in its bigger cutscenes!

For the question around 29:00 - Genshin Impact is a gacha game, so every 3 weeks or so they release a new or returning banner. There are 3 types of banners which you can wish on. (Wishing is just doing pulls on the banner. It's a gacha game). The 3 banner types are: Permantent Banner (also known as the Standard Banner): Here you will be able to pull anytime but you can only get one of the set 7 5★ characters, some standard 5★ weapons and other 4★ weapons and characters and 3★ weapons. Lowest rarity is 3★, highest is 5★. Then we have the limited banners, these change every 3 weeks (or 20 days) and they usually are the limited 5★ character and it's weapon being on the limited weapon banner. For example now (May 11th 2023) the banners are Baizhu and Ganyu for the character banners and on the weapon banner we have their signature weapons (Jadefall's Splendor for Baizhu and Amos Bow for Ganyu). The banners have a Pity system which is at 90 pulls max. So it basically means if you haven't gotten a 5★ withing 89 pulls (the 5★ drop rate is 0.6% btw) then the 90th pull is guaranteed to be a 5★. Usually tho we never get to hit hard pity (90 wishes) to get a 5★. Most people get a 5★ around 70-75 wishes in (which we call soft pity). If you never pulled on a banner before you have a 50/50 chance of getting either the promotjonal advertised 5★ or one of the Standard banner 5★s. If you get one of the standard 5★s it means you lost the 50/50 and your next 5★ (be it on the current banner or whichever future banner you pull on cause Pity carries over to the next banners) will be the promotional character. Depending on your luck you can get a 5★ really early or really late. My earliest 5★ was after 2 wishes so... Ya never know. The weapon banner's pity system is a bit more complicated but I will try to explain. Basically this banner has 2 promotional weapons on it usually and you can choose which path you would like to take, like, for which weapon to build pity basically. The hard pity on the weapon banner is 80 instead of 90 and how the pity system works is: You pick which weapon you would want . If you get a 5★ and it is not your chosen weapon (be it the other promotional one or a standard one) you will have 1 point in the track for the weapon. If you lose again and don't get it you have 2 points. At that point your next 5★ pull on that banner is guaranteed to be the weapon you chose. IT IS WORTH NOTING THAT PITY DOES CARRY OVER FROM BANNER TO BANNER HOWEVER THE POINTS IN THE WEAPON PATH DO NOT CARRY OVER TO THE NEXT BANNER. This is why many people think that the weapon banner is a scam cause you can spend hundreds of dollars and not get a single copy of the weapon you want. But that's Gacha for you....

Yes you are exactly right, all those desert characters were released at the same time as a new desert region was added to the game. They add a new area every couple patches and a whole new nation ever 8 or so patches. All these characters in this video save 1-2 are from the newest nation of sumeru which is part desert part rain forest

Fun fact: Faruzan was exploring a ruins and accidentally got trapped in it for over 100 years in our time before she was able to free herself. However we're not sure if she spent 100 years inside the ruin or if the flow of time was different in there. There are in game cases where different domains have different flows of time, like in one quest the outside world flow of time was only 5 minutes but inside the domain it was 500 years. However Faruzan loves using her apparent age to her benefit coz of her "seniority".

There will be a total of 7 major regions. 4 major regions have opened up for exploration. Mondstadt(German), Liyue(China), Inazuma(Japan), Sumeru(mixture of middle eastern and Indian), Fontaine(mixture of Britain and France), Natlan(Aztech and possibly others), Snezhnaya(Russia). For one of your question, Sumeru is make up of the rain forest and desert which is why you see the desert area in some of the demo.

As you have guess. Yes , that is correct. Genshin Impact world is called Teyvat. And have many territories. 1. Monstadt , is based off of Germany, and Its Element is Anemo (wind), monstadt means "city of the moon". This is the first location your character start the journey. 2. Liyue , based off of China , and Its Element is Geo. Liyue means "Lunar City". 3. Inazuma , based off of Japan , and Its Element is Electro. 4. Sumeru , based off multiple countries => Egypt, Arabia, and India/South Asian. Its element is Dendro. Dendro is the element of life in Genshin Impact. It is the native element of the lands of Sumeru, the Region of Knowledge. Its symbol is denoted by a heart-shaped plant with some additional ornamentation. 5. Fontaine , based off of France. The word Fontaine means "Fountain" in English. This regions element is Hydro (Fun Fact : Kamera as the gadget known came from this region, and in real life the camera was first invented in France). 6. Natlan , based off of Indigenous America (Inca, Mayan), and also Spanish and West African cultures. The element is Pyro. 7. Snezhnaya , based off of Russia. This regions element is Cryo.

I'm still in the 1.0 part of the story ( ever since late 2021 )( still in Monstadt specifically ) so while may not be caught up yet, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WANDERER'S TRAILER!!!! I know him being playable was a big deal, and that trailer showed it!!!! If you want something else to watch/listen to from Genshin, I recommend checking out Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail. It not only has amazing music, but acts as a roadmap for the story. It was released a little after the game's launch so some parts of the trailer have already happened, but it's still definitely worth checking out.

oh dude there's so much you need to see. There's the character teasers, the version trailers, and even the story shorts and animations. Some of them cant be seen in the game anymore so they are posted on the Genshin youtube channel. There's also the Collected Miscellany videos but those explain the mechanics and abilities of each character when playing so i'd say that's something that can come after everything else. The teasers and version trailers have amazing music and animation and are so good. You should definitely do those next! The teasers for each character give some insight on each character's backstory so it would probably take as long as the demos did. Also you actually called it most of these newer characters except for Baizhu, Yaoyao, and Mika are all from a region in the game that is based on Egypt (the region was still new when the first few came out). Most of the names for those characters are Arabic names as well. The regions before this one came out are based on Germany, China, and Japan. They plan to create 7 regions but only 4 are currently out. The next 3 regions that will be released in the future are going to be based on France, South America, and Russia from what I've heard. And to answer your question about who you can play as there are some free ones you get by default but most of them you would have to do the gacha to roll for whenever they are available. Whether or not you need to spend money depends on how lucky you are on the rolls and how much you want certain characters. Characters can either be attack type or support type depending on how they are designed or built.

From the last character last episode forward, we were in the area known as Sumeru. Its a mix of a rainforest and a desert, very based in Egypt and Middle Eastern countries. That's why the music includes the use of the Sitar among other things. The next step for Genshin reactions is the Character Teasers, also called character tales. My favorite demos are a tie between Raiden Shogun, Wanderer, and Dehya, though Dehya's continuously tugs ahead. She's one of my favorite characters to play and has my favorite ost.

Mondstadt is Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Austria(13~14 century Central Europe/Holy Roman Empire), Liyue is China(Central and Eastern China/Qing Dynasty), Inazuma is Japan(17 century Japan/Edo Period), Sumeru is India, Arabian nations, Turkey, Egypt and a little bit of Greece(Western, Central, Southern Asia and North Africa/Islam, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism cultural sphere/Mount Sineru in Indian mythology, Ancient Egypt, Sumer Period, Persian Empire, Ottoman Empire, Kara-Khanid Khanate, Uyghur Khaganate, Ancient Greece). And there are three more nations(Fontaine, Natlan, Snezhnaya) left to go in the game right now. Every characters are from each of these nations, so you can see different backgrounds and monsters at each character demos.

29:00 Alhaitham is my main in this game! He is one of the strongest DPS for Dendro element! He's a mastermind in the main story quest, can't tell you what he did. But once you're experiencing it, you'll appreciate what he did. The man is kinda funny in a sarcastic way. To answer your question, yes you can "pay" but generally Genshin is a good free-to-play game. You'll get a lot of "primogems" and free "fates" as you explore and play the game. You can use those to "wish" for a character. And yes, we started with 4-5 starter characters and go from there.

Adepti are what the people from the Liyue region call thier gods and their children which tend to live among the people. Some like Ganyu look human save for her horns while others choose to look like animals like Cloud Retainer(a bird)
