46:20 Yes, yes they are. Those are called Tacet Marks, they give certain humans in this world power through sound. But it also makes them monsters. Some people have cat ears or elf ears, some people can grow monster parts like armor and spikes, others control blood and use it as a weapon. For Yangyang (the blue girl in a lot of the trailers) her monsterfication is that her hair has feathers, you can see them clearly since they are white. This power helps them beat the Tacet Discords of this word (the monsters) but it also is kinda like a curse. Some people like Danjin (the red girl you watch a trailer on, the scary one cute girl with dual sword) has so much power she has to be kept in check to make sure she doesn't go haywire, her power also allows her to use her own blood to fight. You can see it on her left hand, she has this thing that's stabbed to your hand like the ones they use in hospitals to collect blood, she uses that to use her power and manifest a sword of blood. That's also why after fight the bandits she swiped the blood on her face and proceeded to lick it. Another character is Sanhua who has her mark on her eye, and because of that she is blind, well kinda, she can only see frequency, and perseaves people through the frequency of sound they emit. Currently in the story of what we know so far in cbt2 she can only properly see two people. The magistrate Jinshi (who she is the bodyguard of), and us the Rover (player character) Some people's powers only do small to no physical changes, but it still also make's them non-human, since they become faster, stronger, and have better reflexes of a normal person.

The characters are called resonators , when the lament happen (the calamity that was shown starting on the animated trailer , by the way there is a bit more than a 100 years since the calamity) it changed the world and allowed the td to appears and the world became of frecuencys , the monster can consume frecuencys and evolve , the tacet mark (that scar that all characters have in some part of their bodie) gave them the ability to manipulate some frecuencys but overusing it could made them die or become a td , the starter are yangyang (blue girl with feather) chixia (red one with pistols) and baizhi ( the one with the sumon ) all of those and the mc (the rover) are pretty good units apart from that sanhua (the ice girl is free) and yuanwhu (blue man) is also free , apart from that there is a free five star weapon selector at level 45 , the five star standarts are calcharo(one with clone) , lingyang(one that attacked with dragon dance) , jianxin , encore (child with dolls sheeps plusie ) and verina another child that attack with vines , jiyan the green spear one is limited and yinlin the one that attack with strings (the one on the last trailer the red haired ) is the other limited , the rest are four stars

You got practically everything right, except that Lingyang uses lion dance not dragon dance, it is similar to Gaming, both are original characters inspired in chinese culture.

I'd recommend checking out their other game Punishing Grey Raven it's really good & it can kinda give you a feel for how this one will be minus the open world part

if there's one thing Kuro is amazing at, it has to be making great combat systems. You can see this with their previous game, Punishing Gray Raven, which easily has the best combat system out of any gacha game out right now

@@Gheniel_ Aalto yes Sanhua no. Sanhua is one of the strongest DPS presently. I would say like 3rd or 4th. Aalto only needs slight adjustments to his stats. Aalto is going to be disgusting once people get god rolls. Specifically Aero damage, Resonance Skill damage, Crit Rate and Crit damage being the most important. Keep in mind all mist bullets count as Resonance skill. I was criting for 2.5K on a basic attack(not heavy) with Aalto during CBT2. Unfortunately my Crit rate was low but you get the idea. Aalto just needs more investment into echoes but yeah slight adjustments to stats and he's good. Alright enough of my yapping

Also you should check out Punishing: Gray Raven its by the same company as Wuthering Waves i would recommend you to watch Alpha Crimson Weave vs The Twins, Lee Hyperreal vs Primal Projection, Bianca Stigma vs Lithos these are 3 very good and fun fights in the game.

Personally im conflicted on the games this studio makes in general because its anotehr omni pandering game but with pgr having very strong female shipping with the mc harem style and yet you have parts of the fandom mad the fact that some people like female characters more so you have these female vs male character enjoyers and the fandom gets toxic in general. As for the game itself im not a fan of the ashetitcs of this post apo but fantasy like setting with futuristic buildings those are already really common in media to see. I dont like the more depressive setthing comapred to other games that are coming out dont really like the more dark cold color pallet. I will try it out since i played half of the punishing gray raven and liked it and this game has some cool systems but i dont have much hope to it pulling me in truly

unfortunately that's something you'll see in basically every gacha :/ it's all nice and fine, but part of the excitement of games in general are character dynamics and interactions, which you'd think gacha games would be great at with how many characters there are...but all those characters have to be connected to the faceless self-insert MC so we barely get any of that
