Their first album has sempiternal written all over it, FGBGFM is trending more showing their versatility, and besides Artifcial Suicide, Noah shows he has more range as a vocalist overall than Ollie, he has so much control and I love the variety of the new album

they just dropped the new album today and theres a pretty brought variety of heaviness for example “ARTIFICIAL SUICIDE” is really heavy and “bad decisions” is not even in the slightest also some time back they did an unplugged version of some of their songs so it’d be cool to see you react to one of the originals as well as the unplugged version (it doesn’t really matter which one because they’re all really good) :)

Bad Omens are one of those bands that can do pretty much anything sound wise. Their first album was more a heavy one, but some of the songs had this 'haunting' kinda vibe, just a bit more raw. The second album wasn't as heavy except for a couple of tracks, and had more of a rock/alternative kinda vibe, I haven't had a chance to listen to the new record yet but the singles have been all over the place so I don't know what to expect haha. But yeah, whatever sound they do they absolutely smash it. Would recommend Limits and Never Know as a good easing in, Mercy is a bit heavier but is a masterpiece. Also The Fountain. I mean just listen to their whole discography tbh. I imagine people will ask you to react to Dethrone and Artificial Suicide, which are good, but very heavy so just a heads up

This whole album is phenomenal, Bad Omens saw barriers and labels, and just destroyed them. I've tried finding interviews or something to learn about the songs and lyrics, but haven't found anything. So my guess is that Noah (the lead singer) has suffered a lot of pain over the last few years in regards to a love. So many of the songs make me think he's hurting. But of course many songs are written from others point of view, are written about things that didn't happen and so on, so I could be totally wrong. I definitely recommend giving the album a chance.
