I love everything about this song. Oddly, the thing that really does it for me in this one is the lyrics. Miku hardly ever gets the credit she deserves. Kobato is a Rockstar! 🤘🕊🤘

Watching the Small Pigeon onstage being a rock star is absolutely glorious! Nothing better than when the pigtails are flying!

Watching her solo before Influencer at Yokoari WAS glorious! I cried from being so proud of her. Hey Davey! 🙂

One would think this whole emotional thing would wear off over time.. but no. It just gets worse! Hahaha

@@80mtnWas thinking the exact same watching my new YokoAri disc last night. The part she's playing after the rest of the band jumps in is even cooler, but it does take star presence to pull off long over- the- top chords like that and make it bad- ass.

A masterpiece. Kanami (lead guitar) composed this and Miku (rhythm guitar) wrote the lyrics. This was from one of the live (but without an audience) gigs they streamed during the plague years, helping keep us all sane and happier, bless them. At the time the Japanese government was giving tax breaks or extra payments to artists if they released double song MV's so this was released with the incredible BLACK HOLE, with its infamous 220BPM section at the finish, which I'm sure you'd love (hint, hint!).

Going live is usually the best way to listen to BM but for me there is 2 songs that I always prefer the studio version and one of them is MANNERS and the other is DAYDREAMING
@Bekka_Noyb8 ай бұрын
agreed. I'd also add Bubble to that very short list!

You really need to check out the second song on this video "Black Hole". There is a reason the band released them together, as they are very very different! It shows off their versatility. "Manners" is more old school groove rock, "Black Hole" is insanity!

Without taking anything from Saiki or Miku, I think the center of the band is a guitar/bass/drum power trio. It seems inevitable they would have gotten together. Kanami was friends with Akane and had played with her, Akane was friends with MISA and had played with her. They are all fabulous musicians, like each other, and support each other. As soon as you praise Kanami someone will comment "but what about MISA?" and as soon as you praise MISA someone will comment "but what about Akane?" and so on. They are the triumvirate!

Thanks for the reaction. It's hard not to love these ladies. MISA's bass tone is absolutely sick. Looking forward to your next reaction video. Cheers!

Misa is considered a lead Bassist, and yes she is exceptional!! Great song all around and one I will use to introduce anyone to the band! Keep searching great music, there's a lot out there and so little of it is played on radio in the US! Rock on!

Good Manners? Oh, yeah! Thanks lead guitarist Kanami for your compositions, and 2nd guitarist Miku for your lyrics, and everyone else for everything else. Like the unique, awesome outro, every Band-Maid song has a touch of class because the Maids have class. A remarkable, important band in so many aspects! "aw, aw, aw, aw, aw, aw, aw, awesome!" Thx, Owner of Agnes!

Tom, I've always seen Miku's "Ah, ha, ha, ha" as a not so subtle dig at their early detractors, and rightly so.

@@jjo154 LOL You know, I've been following Band-Maid daily since 2014. And in that time, there really has only been a handful of trolls and people who I call, small-minded people with little to no musical taste. ;-) So I think she wrote that part not out of spite, but that it just came to her in rehearsals, and it fit and was unique. I say that because that's kind of what she does, over and over. For example, check out Miku's backup licks in Why Why Why... again.Thx, JJO!

Nice reaction. I'm convinced that this is Miku's not so subtle thumbing of the nose to those who said that her concept for the band would never work.

Powerful song - a lot of very good things happening in it. If the views of the official video are something to go by, not their most popular tune though. Not nice: *Manners* deserves better.

Now react to the music video, it gives much more meaning to the song, it's a visual masterpiece. Not all of Band-Maids LIVE serving are the greatest thing since canned beer. I feel it best to watch the music videos first then view the LIVE version. If you find this LIVE version better I will take back every thing I said.

I was wondering if you are interested in maybe checking the Documentaries made for the Maids? I think you actually really like the band so those series of videos will be very entertaining for you to react and see ♥
