FIRST TIME REACTION to BTS' ON Kinetic Manifesto - MINDBLOWN!

The thing is, while most ARMYs like Dynamite and Boy with Love, the number of ARMYs whose favorite BTS song is either Dynamite or Boy with Love is probably a minority. Their fluffy stuff is nice, and catchy but most of us became ARMY for BTS’ deeper stuff. The stuff with a message. The stuff that resonates. I personally cannot choose a favorite BTS song. I have like, a top 20. But the songs on the list are stuff like Outro: Tear, Jamais Vu, The Truth Untold, Anapan Man, Pied Piper, Magic Shop, MikroKosmos, and Louder than Bombs.

Try BTS' Black Swan next. It's a totally different sound than any of the ones you've heard before. BTS is known for their genre-blending songs, so every new song they came out with were a surprise to us. We knew whatever they came out with would be good. They will reunite in 2015 when they all finish their mandatory military service. 💜

They performed this live on Fallon at Grand Central Station. Rented the whole place in the middle of the night to do it. Also used UCLA’s marching band in the recording!

There’s a behind the scenes vid for this that shows the drones and other camera work. It’s worth a view. BTS and the dancer crew (The Lab out of LA) recreated this live in an empty Grand Central Station on the Jimmy Fallon show. That’s worth a view too - the guys sing live and the dancers get really hyped. Sienna Lalau is the choreographer, she’s the first dancer with the fierce look on her face in this mv.

The song is ON, the video is The kinetic (meaning motion) manifesto (meaning a declaration) film, or basically a performance video. There is a mind blowingly large budget music video for this song, but it doesn’t show as much of the choreography and it has a lot of symbolism and metaphors which can be confusing for new fans so most people recommend this video instead.

There is a second MV to the song with a lot more Lore. Because there is actually a lot to talk about. We are on "The Map of the Soul": Jungian psychology. To "Love Yourself" you have "Know Yourself". "On" is the end of the journey: "Intro: Persona" (RM) -> "Boy with Luv" -> "Intelude: Shadow" (Suga) -> "Black Swan" -> "On" -> "Outro: Ego" (J-Hope) Because they are doing amazing concept work. In "Black Swan" (named after the thriller of the same name) they explored their "shadow" as artists. The shadow is our unconsciousness: what we can't accept about ourself, what we fear/hate, what keeps us up at night, what makes us depressed etc. In "On" after the exploraton - and being bruised/hurt by it - the battle is taken up again. Because we are more than our positive side and have to pull as much of our "shadow" into our conscious self to achieve "true self" or at least as close as it gets and that is our Ego. So this is the end of growing up, the achievment of individuation with healthy self-love and self-acceptance: a story of coming of age/a full fledged adult. "On" also turns around on old songs of theirs :"N.O." and in the other MV turn the "No More Dream" (their debut song) into the order of "Dream" aka. built your own future and don't let others create yours. (for both of those and "Fire" I thik using the channel 1theK is actually better because it has subtitles. "Enjoy BTS More" has a lot of live in concert songs with subtitles. There a lot of songs that could be interesting. It's also a matter of genre because they tried a lot of different ones. But probably "Fire", "Dope", "Not Today", "Fake Love", "MicDrop", maybe "Airplane Pt. 2" (if you want Latin Pop) if you want MVs. "Run BTS" has a performance and a dance practice vid. "Nevermind" is "only" performed by Suga. There is a Festa Live Room vid that has a medley of B-sides. "Ugh" has an explained vid by DKDKTV. (there is also a song called "Boy with luv" which had a different genre altogether and is from early in their career) And if you want to be bowled over try their MMA 2019 performance (it's pretty long but oh so worth it). You nice! Keep going! 💜

On, is one of my all time favorites. They have so many fantastic songs to start off with, I would recommend Taylor Mari BTS Guide... as previously mentioned, Army will watch reaction, it is 45 min but worth getting to know BTS and their beginnings up to 2022. I really enjoyed your reaction to these talented young men, our BTS. I became a subscriber in hopes of watching you react to more and more BTS and their solo projects. I'm a 62-year-old ARMY and found Jungkook in July when he released his song, SEVEN and loved it and needed more of him...little did I know that he was part of an amazing group of young men - BTS! I've read almost everywhere that BTS finds you when you need them the most...and I surely did need their positivity, beautiful lyrics, outstanding choreography, phenomenal videos and more -- all that makes them BTS. They really helped me through some tough times. Although Jungkook is my bias, I am obsessed with each and every one of them (to the point that my oldest son asked me if I needed an intervention)🤣 my kids have never experienced me being such a fan of anyone or thing, but they like that I love BTS and are always looking for anything to purchase for me, in regards to BTS, because I have begun collecting the merch. When they visit, they also take the time to watch BTS videos (group and solos) with me, and so do my grands, because that makes me happy, and they know it. And I watch them every single day.💜

Is this is really your very first reaction to BTS on KZbin? What isn't your first reaction video on KZbin? Usually when somebody finds a video, they want to watch they press play, they watch the video from the beginning! But you didn't do that did you started your reaction when the music started playing for the actual performance video. this is not a music video it's a performance video. not a live performance video because they don't have microphones, they're lip syncing like all artists do on music videos there's no microphones in their hands or on their head they're lip syncing. Anyway, why is the intro sequence to big hit entertainment missing from the beginning of the video it's not supposed to be chopped off of the video it's part of the video it's the beginning of the video it's on every DTS music video that wasn't supposed to be there it wouldn't be there.
