OMG another sensational singer from the Philippines , I've lost count of the amazing singers from there that I've heard for the first time this year. It is mind blowing how good they all are. I'll certainly be searching for more of Darren and thanks to the other comments below I know what to look for. Darren is a Filipino singer born in Canada I believe. If you liked this video you should also check out his cover of "Believe" by Fantasia. He also did a cover of "A whole new world" from Disney's Aladdin w/Morrisette Amon. Darren is much more grown up in the Aladdin cover he did. You think you're blown away now? He was 13 or 14 here, fresh out of the Voice Kids Philippines. This his Chandelier perfomance for the Wish Bus was Wish's first viral video....no idea why it was taken down. Glad to inform you that his career is still going strong, he's 19 now. He's Fil-Canadian. He was in the top 6 of The Next Star competition on YTV Canada when he was 10, the youngest to be included ever. You may want to react to another of his Wish|Bus performance "I Believe". He was probably 14 or 15 then.

Darren is like Morisette’s little bro...they’ve done lots of collabs together. They did an epic impromptu performance of Chandelier in 2016 which is a must-see! BTW, this video, filmed in 2015, was taken down necause of issues between the Wish Bus and Darren’s record label, I believe. This video was, I think, the first performance on the Wish Bus to go viral globally. He is now 19, with a deeper, more mature voice but still an excellent singer. He is a huge star in the Philippines since he joined The Voice Kids Philippines in 2014. This video of Darren blew up! This is one of the reasons that the Wish Bus is so big now, so it really bothers me if the video is no longer found on the Wish Bus' channel. His parents fully supported his dream, that they flew from Canada (he's Filipino-Canadian), just so he can try out for the Voice Kids in the Philippines. He took 2nd Place on the Voice Kids Philippines at 13 (in 2014). Youngest artist to put out a concert at the age of 14. His songs are on Spotify. Now 19 ,he is a Canadian born to Filipino parents in Calgary, AB, Canada....The sent him to the Philippines to help his career since Canada wasn't recognizing his talent .Was in singing contests, and signed by ABS-CBN ( major TV Network) Help Disnet promote , Aladdin in PH. and was paired with Morissette to sing Whole New World on WISH 107.5. Great reaction but to be honest, his drawing back isn’t for sound as if you were watching a concert or live performance, the pull away is for effect for a fade away. He’s only slightly pulling back in the video because he’s hitting his full range and needs the air, so since he’s sitting down, he has to slightly lean back to take in air. Not a skill, just a habit singers have when they are sitting or in an area that they can’t get enough air.
