Perfection is about all you have to say about this performance by Lucy at 16?years of age with. Hand held microphone in her living room during Covid lockdown. The song is very moving and has a wonderful message to impart. Lucy delivers this in an impassioned way which is just so convincing and credible. Thanks for reacting to Lucy. First you may like to read her comments to this song in the description. This is one of her songs at home during covid lockdown. I'm very pleased she refrains from using those mostly ugly gymnastics Mariah C. seems to need. Lucy does not need them. She is the best.

henkhessel That is a subject I have harped all over Lucys react video's is for the Reactors to READ the heading, click MORE, and get a lot of info instead of just saying they know little about Lucy or the song, guess it is just about educating these reactors that seem to be just looking for views and subs !!

This song was released on March 26 2020 during the covid lockdown, Lucy was just 16 and is recorded in her living room and dedicated to ALL the first responders and medical staff, Doctors, nurses, and fire fighters for their work during the covid lock down. Her singing is pure, clean, to the point minus all the vocal gymnastics we see in so many "modern" singers. Lucy can sing and does NOT have to resort to screaming to hit the high notes, Thanks for the react to one of Lucy's older hits !!! also Remember you were reacting to Lucy NOT mariah Carey !!!!!

Sorry Wilbur, I'm basically with you but I think with a reaction video you can also talk about the original version or singer, I think Mariah is the original?, this channel is not a fan club channel. I'm Lucy and Martha fan, but reaction videos should always be allowed to show multiple sides and also be allowed to compare

Hello, I partly agree with you again, but I am still of the opinion that a video reactor should do his thing the way he thinks he has to comment on it and if he loses clicks that is his problem. Yes, I also think he probably overdid it a bit with Mariah, especially when it comes to the 4-5 oktaves, whitch doesn't belong here. But even when I watch reactions from "Thousand Years" Christina Perry is often mentioned or thought to be better, which is not my opinion, but I take note of it, maybe make a comment, like you did, and watch it channel further or not. Hey. If you want to see Lucy bust off in to some high notes watch this new video just dropped a few days ago. “Pie Jesu” is another duet with Lucy and Martha. It is sung in Latin but it is another masterpiece. But Lucy definitely brings out her beautiful high register. You have to remember that her normal singing voice is an alto.
