I always get emotional seeing their early struggles, and also knowing that most of their bashers were fellow Filipinos. I am Filipino American, born and raised, and it hurts to think that there are Filipinos who still don’t support them. I only discovered Filipino music in general 3 or 4 years ago, because I was interested in learning about the music of my parents’ country. I saw SB19’s KZbin Fan Fest video of Love Goes and Go Up in October of 2020 and was so impressed-what kind of music is this? I binge watched all of their music, vlogs and interviews and became a fan. I am so so proud of SB19 and grateful that I found them💙
