That song is definitely one of the most emotional songs in the whole movie and you can hear in Halle's voice how heartbroken, confused and torn Ariel is. Halle is just simply phenomenal but Lin-Manuel Miranda also deserves huge cred for his brilliant songwriting here. And the orchestra also really adds to the overall delivery. It's a short song but always gives me goosebumps and also a little teary-eyed 😢

this song make me cry,knowing that the little mermaid didnt actually marry the prince,yet she was given a chance to be a mermaid again but in order for that to happen is she needs to kill the prince ,instead of doing that,she jump in the water and turned into sea foam😭
