It may be true that Özcan also feels Dutch and is proud of it, there is nothing to say against it. But it doesn't change that he is singing about ancient Turkish deities and that almost all Turks know them and understand the language. I also partially understand the Otyken (Ötüken) singer although it is a very rare old dialect. We also know the original instruments used, especially the dombra, which Özcan plays, and the mouth instrument Gubuz. I even know some of the patterns on the singers' costumes because, like the Irish, they were a symbol of clan identification.
