If we had not had Messi and Ronaldo, Zlatan would have been the legend of his generation. Fantastic player, with the most extraordinary winner mentality you could imagine. He has played for Ajax, Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, Paris SG, LA Galaxy and won a cup or a league every year, except with LA Galaxy. Just went back to Milan 2 years ago at the age of 40, when most players have since long retired, and won the league with them for the first time in 10 years for the club. (By the way, 10 years ago was when he played with Milan last; he pretty much is the patron saint of Milano at this point.) Great character with a lot of other funny KZbin videos showing of his glorious arrogance as well.

despite these crazy goals he used to never be injured. I think he should be considered amongst the best even though he lack the european trophies to compete with Messi and Ronaldo. Zlatan is a great player but not from the best players ever. There was a match between Portugal and Sweden playoff for the wordl cup (2013). That match was a battle between 2 players - Zlatan vs CR. Ronaldo. The result was 3-2 for Portugal - 3 goals from Ronaldo and 2 goals from Zlatan. Still Zlatan remains a legend in football

The debut goal you were talking about for LA Galaxy in the MLS is more special because Zlatan had just landed in LA and went straight to the ground. He was not scheduled to play that day because of jetlag as he just flew in from Stockholm, Sweden. But after Galaxy were down 0-3 against their arch rivals LA FC, the crowd started to chant "WE WANT ZLATAN". The Lion heard them and went to the coach and told him "They want Zlatan. I want to give them Zlatan." And the rest is history ❤

Great reaction. The backflip goal against England was very special. I attended that game as that was the first ever football game played on Swedens new national arena, Friends Arena. Zlatan was determined to be the first player ever to score on the arena. Of course he scored the first goal, an he also scored all four (goals) against England, beating them with 4-2. I sat above and behind the English goal when he did the backflip goal. I thought the roof of the arena would break at that moment. Legendary.

We saw him turning towards the ball that the goalkeeper headed as he was way out of his goal tender zone, and Zlatan just back flipped without turning around. We followed the ball in the air an as we sat in the exact angle the ball was heading towards the goal, we realized that this was probably going to end up in the goal. When it did we all, about 60 000 people, just screamed as load as we could.

I'm Swedish and I can tell you that Zlatan is pretty much king in this country. He is our LeBron or Brady. Football is huge in Sweden but we aren't very good internationally and doesn't have any world class star players. Except for Zlatan. But he is old now. The world belongs to Erling Haaland now.

It was extra special because he scored all 4 goals for Sweden, and most importantly it was against England. Why?
