Welcome to the Yebba rabbit hole. She's made a whole bunch of great tracks. Her duet with Clark Beckham, Gravity, her Tiny Desk concert and her Grammy winning duet with PJ Morton How Deep is Your Love are all top class. And they're just the tip of the iceberg.

I think she weaved all the different crying sounds into the song. It's crying with words. Awesome

I've seen this performance dozens of times and the fact that watching it still makes me tear up... so much raw emotion that we can all relate to, or even just have empathy for. Great reaction!

Yebba is a phenomenal live performer, I genuinely prefer her live versions of all her stuff. Highly recommend Yebbas tiny desk concert

Yebba (Abbey) wrote that song specifically for that performance. No one knows if it came from a place of experience but her intent was to make everyone feel it, to be part of that story. She uses every part of her vocal ability to tell that story and she made so many smart strategic moves during that performance. One of the best live performances I have ever seen in my life.

Her live performances are top tier. I suggest Smoke with Luke Levenson and Boomerang live. As well as everything else. Her tiny desk is a master class in arrangements. ❤

She was going through Some personal s*** and This is a once in a lifetime performance even from her. You have to check out another powerful live performance by Jasmine Sullivan and it is foreve Don't last live in birmingham And it will break your heart❤❤❤❤

Honestly. First reaction video to this song that I’ve seen. When I prefer the critiques and creators comments vs the live reaction moments. I can tell you get music and I love it.

OK I'm a bit of a weirdo and I love reactions and especially to songs. I know and love and i've seen quite a few reactions to this song but I have to admit yours has been the most powerful. You almost feel like crying and I can't tell you how many times i've watched this video and get goosebumps every f****** time❤❤❤❤❤

I love Yebba. First time I heard this song I was dumbstruck. I couldn't say anything. I was so amazed by her performance. Next check out Clark Beckham featuring Yebba singing Gravity by John Mayer. Also, I'm going suggest Stan Walker singing Ultralight Beam by Kanye West and Chris Stapleton singing Sometimes I Cry. If you like either one I have lists of songs for you.

What blows my mind is she lost her mom to suicide not long before this performance and it was something that happened to her in real life. So much pain so close together in time ❤

Love your reaction to this. Glad yt put in my recommendations. I understood that "sure wont stay, but ill be damned if I ever leave" to mean, she's not leaving and let her have him. Hes gonna have to leave if he wants to ho but she's detaching herself from in while in the home wirh him. Anyway. Youve just got a new subscriber. Lol
From what I understand this was a true song and she performed this a couple weeks before her mom committed suicide, possibly out front of her home.

I will never be able to listen to a cover of this song of hers because others can and will have a similar situation, it just can't compare. Mainly because after sharing this experience, it becomes a technical challenge rather than a sharing of her story
