I’ve been working with horses since I was about 12 and you are the first female trainer I’ve liked. I love your style and your videos, how you handle them, your instruction. You’re thorough and easy to listen to. I started with Parelli went to Warwick watched Clint and Monty Robert’s TRT method and Josh Nichol. I couldn’t stick with mustang Maddy (don’t like treat training) but mostly hard to listen to, couldn’t stay with Stacey westfall, I’ve tried a few other female trainers and they drive me nuts. Even when I found your channel I watched your husband first thinking I wouldn’t like yours as much but damn … you are phenomenal. Definitely hooked and thank you for sharing all this!

Just saw this comment. I appreciate your kind words and I am glad the information I shared could be helpful in some way to you! I've had some fabulous mentors who've helped me to become who I am, and as cliche as it sounds, I'm always striving to be a student of the horse. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel!

I love how patient and methodical you are---and how much emphasis you are placing on her being able to move through different states of mind. So cool, she is improving so much with you!

I am so inspired by this! I am starting a young QH who seems to have similar characteristics as this mare. I will be so proud if our first saddling experience goes as smoothly as this. After watching this I have noticed things in myself that I could change for the better. I tend to do a lot of "waiting" for relaxation which might give the horses too much time to think and worry. I might try moving through the process more fluidly and see how that goes :) thank you

Love the videos! Could you comment on her stomping her front feet? Was there maybe a fly bothering her or something else? Thanks

This is the exact reason i thew a saddle on my yearling as soon as i got her. No real weight, just an old enlish saddle i had and lots of ground work. Much easier to work with 400/500lbs than 800-1000lbs.

I'm enjoying watching this little mare progress. You're giving me inspiration for starting my mare soon. How many sessions are you doing per day/week?
