Let's normalize providing links for videos when we make requests, that's helpful all around. Let's also normalize being understanding of people that are new to a certain genre or to content from a different country as it can be very confusing to navigate and understand what everything means. It takes consuming a lot of content and time to learn all the nuances, being a baby stan is heavily reliant on the kindness and support of the community to guide and teach. In this case, because this is a Reality TV show the subtitles are for the commentary and conversations and not the actual performances. There used to be a video of just the performance but the YT channel was hacked and many videos were erased. The only place I have seen the video with subtitles to the lyrics is on the VIKI streaming app which has the whole reality show. Don't worry you'll learn as you go and these things will start to make sense, when in doubt am sure you can always ask whoever made the request for further details or even a link 😊

Kingdom Legendary War is a battle behind six hip K-Pop boy bands: BtoB, IKon, SF9, Ateez, The Boyz, Stray Kids. The program ran last year and includes 4 performance rounds. Stray Kids won the whole show and got a reality show dedicated to the winning boy band, as well as a special "Kingdom Week" show.

This was a cover for Kingdom with SKz twist of course 😆 the original is more mellow, by BTOB and is not an easy song. BTOB is the senior generation you can see in the reaction. In turn, they did Back Door, their version is really good. This is Mnet performances, no captions. Be careful with copyright cause Mnet is really big on that. Cheers.

This is an iconic performance. My top 3 performances from Kingdom are this one, Love Poem (mayfly vocal unit) & Mayfly Rap Unit (forgot the name of the song). I think you would really enjoy the vocal unit one. This performance is really great because especially Han showed his power as a vocalist. Love how literally everybody got surprised. After that performance, the host told him "I thought you were the main vocalist" and Han got really shy & happy because the host is one of the biggest icons in kpop. Also, love how the only thing Wooyoung from Ateez talks about is his bestie Changbin. Those two are really close friends & they got a nickname on Kingdom. Everybody called them "lovey dovey" hehe

Just found your channel yesterday and have been binge watching your Stray Kids and other Kpop reactions. This song was actually a cover version of a BTOB song - the original version by them is also great and I recommend giving that a look as well. Stray Kids participated in a "battle of the bands" type competition show called Kingdom: Legendary Wars, which is what this live performance was from. The challenge for that round was to cover and reinvent a song from one of the other competitors. The other groups (who were seen reacting throughout this video) were Ateez, The Boyz, SF9, BTOB, and IKON.

There is no English subtitles on the songs but on the others reactions. MNet is a big TV affiliate for Asian TV shows, movies, and music. MNet are the ones that produces the Kingdom and Queendom reality shows. MNet is the producer of MAMA awards, which stands for MNet Asian Music Awards. Kingdom is a reality elimination show that started in 2020 and so far there were only 2 seasons. The show is where 6 k-pop male groups go head to head and compete for the rights to be crowned Kings. Queendom is the same but with the female k-pop version. Its a great way for all the groups to get some more camera time and gain more fans. S1: Road to Kingdom, you had: The Boyz, Pentagon, ONF, Verivery, Oneus, Golden Child, Too. The Boyz were crowned kings. S2 Kingdom: Legendary War you had: The Boys (returning to save their crown), Stray Kids, iKon, BtoB, SF9, Ateez. In S2, there were 3 rounds of performances, 3 rounds of collaboration performances, sports competition day and in the end all groups had to create a brand new song and preform it in the last episode. each round the groups accumulated points based on 3 categories, performance view video count (10%), global votes (40%), expertise (25%), self evaluation(25%). Spoiler: In the end Stray Kids were crowned Kings. All of these performances were epic and legendary and seeing each groups reaction for their follow peers is priceless. Adding that Ill Be Your Man is a song from one of the other groups they are competition against. Each round has certain requirements for that round. This one is each group had to do a song boy one of the other groups. This song is a vocal song because BtoB debut 2011 and is the senior group on Kingdom and they are more vocalist style songs. BtoB had to do one of Stray Kids songs and they did a cover of Back Door. You can watch the full version of Kingdom Legendary War for free on Rakuten Viki wit English subtitles (not on the songs) there is a lyric video on Ill be your man son by BtoB if you need the words. also adding that this song is a remix of the original song by BtoB. Kingdom version, stray kids are sad because of the statue boy died and they prayed to the heavens and got no answer they fought the angels and appealed to the devil to try and bring back their lost loved one. you see them praying to the statue boy, then praying to heaving and then fighting angels, you see the glimpse of the boy wiping changbin's tears in heaven. in the end they sacrificed themself s to bring back the boy who came back to life and hugged Bang Chan.

eyyy so good to see you reacting to this one- my favorite SKZ kingdom performance! there used to be the "full version" of each of the kingdom performances, but for some reason they got taken down, and haven't returned in months. that version is the one published by mnet's youtube channel with no cuts to reactions or anything like that. i don't think even that version has english subtitles on the performance portions, unfortunately. there are fan translations out there, which you might have already looked up as you indicated at the end there. anyways, stray kids (and other groups on the show kingdom) had some really powerful and meaningful performances for this show. i hope you react to some more kingdom stuff, even if it's not ideal versions of video/subtitling. the theatricality in the performances from kingdom are top notch and super cool. if you don't film reactions to them, i hope you still go watch the show or just the performances- jaw dropping showmanship and some real tear jerkers!

Amazing you're not blocked yet. Maybe not putting Kingdom in the title actually worked. I watched all Kingdom episodes on Viu app. Then watched all the full versions (without commentaries and other groups' reactions). As for lyrics with subtitles, you can check out fan made lyric videos. I guess you have not seen God's dududu, Wolfgang and my favorite Seungmin's iconic performance with 2 others from BTOB and ATEEZ yet. Other groups' performances were awesome as well. IMO, Kingdom is the best KPOP reality show I have ever seen. This competition was truly a big win for Stray Kids.

I really wished that when someone requested a reaction to a song/performance that they also would inform the reactor any specific ‘need-to-know’ details. A rundown since no one else seemed to have explained kingdom legendary war is a competition between six boy groups stray kids,ateez, btob, sf9, ikon and the boyz the boyz were the winner of the show kingdom: road to kingdom which is basically season 1 the winners of kingdom legendary war is stray kids in this paticular ep all the groups were required to switch songs with each other and cover it but make it their own the group stray kids exchanged their song with is btob they did back door and stray kids did ill be your man I suggest u watch btob back door perf I would also suggest you watch ateez Rythm ta perf that is a song by ikon in this round these were my personal favorites I would honestly suggest that u watch all the perf that took place in this round but it's better to start of small

English simply means that thay what subtitles there are, are in English. Personally, I don't ever expect a live performance to have a song thats being sung live, in a foreign tongue, to have subtitles in English. Not to mention one that is on a competition show in which there is a good chance the songs are remade, remixed and perhaps in some cases even rewritten for the stage. A quick search of this song reveals that it's not theirs, so It's bound to be different in enough ways that it's not like you can copy and paste the English lyrics of the original to this. On top of that, if the video is like this one, and on the channel of the hosting show and the hosting show already has the lyrics that are bding given in the box on the bottom corner... Then I would assume that these are the only lyrics that are going to be provided. I would be Ok with that though, since I have learned that we lack respect over there forngiod reason. And if we want to be seen better than we currently are. Then we need tovhave a lot more respect for this being their language, and understand how cringy it is for us to call ourselves fans and then demand everything either have English subtitles, or be in actual english Just for us to be able to watch it, nevertheless enjoy it. Which is why i always feel so sad when people misunderstand what they mean by English subtitles, and then make it obvious that what they provided wasn't quite good enough. When at the end of the day, this is infact a Korean show, with Korean contestants, and a song written and sung in Hangul. That's a clear sign to me thay it's perhaps best to be just be thankful for what English they do provide. Since in Korea, it would be and is, seen as disrespectful to cater to the English language as a Korean artist. Another key bit of information that a little research provided me with long ago. On top of all that, i think it could be of use to note that we can't always know that we won't understand, unless first we actually try. This is obviously a full blown, storyline driven stage. There's a good chance that not only will the stage itself tell the story, but I doubt fans would have asked you to do a performance you have no chance of understanding. I know this fandom, and I'm sure at least some of them asked you to react to this having written out in "quotations" exactly what you should type, in order to pull up the correct performance. So if you followed the title properly, and they didn't leave any other specific instructions for you to follow... Of course this is only if none of the suggestions provided included a link you saved. Then it would be my guess that the video the accumulation of such fans should have brought you too the correct one. Anyways... I do hope you have a beautiful day!

my heart is heavy when i say this, but someone hacked the mnet account and deleted every single official stray kids performance from kingdom. we only have the fancams and the ones with the reactions now. not the ones we streamed up to 30+ million views so we can win. they still haven’t fixed the issue, even though we made emailed them about it. expect to not find proper performances except ones with reactions.

Man I was really hoping Stay would show they can behave themselves better than Army in your comments but apparently not. That being said: Yes! Finally your getting to some of their Kingdom stuff. Part of the appeal of stray kids is their stage presence and its really showcased in their Kingdom and MAMA stages how they make each one their own. I know you are watching for the songs/lyrics and therefore aren't really looking for covers so I won't suggest them but both Kingdom and MAMA stages have them do remixes of their songs that are really cool to compare to the originals.
