First time seeing STIGMA by V of BTS!

V is a big fan of jazz and for "Stigma", he wrote the lyrics and the chorus. But "Singularity" was composed and produced by Charles J. Perry, with lyrics by RM. V's other BTS solo song is "Inner Child", but not in the same vibe as these two. V has several personal solo songs: Winter Bear, Sweet Night, Scenery, Snow Flower, Four O'clock, all co-written by him. He also sings "Christmas Tree", written by an accomplished Korean songwriter specifically for him, in the same style of his other songs. He also co-wrote "Blue & Grey", originally meant for his mixtape, but ended up being a BTS song, performed by the entire group. These songs are acoustic ballads, so they are different from "Singularity" and "Stigma". I think only "Snow Flower" is slightly similar. But please do take a listen. They're all great songs. V has also leaked snippets of his songs on Twitter and IG, all good songs as well. V is planning to release a solo album (like other BTS members) and people expect or hope for at least one or two jazz tracks. Definitely appreciate your reaction. V has a voice that is so deep and sultry and yet can go so extremely high that it is downright shocking. I absolutely love his voice. He is definitely the reason I got into BTS one fan cam of him and that was all she wrote.

If you like V he did an indie pop song call Sweet Night. It's in English and his singing is understated and beautiful. He exude so much emotion and longing in that song with out any ad lib and crazy high notes. It's my favorite.

‘Blue and Grey’ is a group song that Tae co-wrote as the song was supposed to be on his mixtape as solo song but then the group decided to include it in their ‘BE’ album. Snow Flower is another song Tae wrote and performed, as Christmas gift to Army in 2020 because his mixtape was delayed

Tae has such amazing velvety vocals and stage presence. This song really showcased his impressive range with those deep lows and that amazing high note. Snow Flower has that jazz influence with a retro electric guitar and some trumpet. It’s not neo soul like Singularity, or R&B flavored like Stigma, but it’s relaxed smooth jazz vibe really is an experience. It’s so chill! His song Inner Child is more like a Brit Pop Anthem. It’s a different style, but really shows Taehyung’s (V) diversity of genres that he can deliver! The man has a very versatile voice! You asked if that was him in the spoken part. Yes that was V’s pre-blond era self. The other suggestions made in comments are great selections from his ballad genre. He excels at every style, but his ballads are magical, stress busting masterpieces!
